A friend of mine and I just got back from an eight-day trip to New York. Our itinerary began with a tour of Brooklyn provided by Frank, an Italian-American guide extremely competent, precise and able to answer all our questions. During coffee breaks, as well as on the subway, he continued to illustrate not only the secrets but also the curiosities related to the city using carefully selected first-level illustrated material to prepare for the guided tours. Our satisfaction was so high that the next day we decided to participate, with him, in Harlem (Gospel service and neighborhood visit). I can only highly recommend Frank to start getting to know such a rich and fascinating city, difficult to understand independently. At the end of 2026 we will return and will definitely explore another district with Frank.

New York is beautiful to see, you can visit it by preparing an itinerary that encloses the monuments, buildings or places famous all over the world and then once visited you can say: I have been there or I have seen it.
Different instead to visit New York led by Frank.
You will be able to see and visit Monuments, buildings, neighborhoods, world famous places but with a historical explanation of why or how a monument, building or what was in a certain neighborhood or area of the city was built. All explained with passion and preparation, knowing the history of what you are going to see from a different value that goes beyond the opinion that you can make seeing one of the wonders of New York.
The tour led by Frank gave much more value to what I saw with him because thanks to him I know so many because of the changes and events that took place in the city that otherwise I would not know.
Frank Recommendation both because it is a great choice but also because those visiting New York with Frank will be a vacationer who will return more cultured to New York.
Thank you Frank you are Unique.

Exceptional tour, Frank is definitely a guide out of the ordinary for his culture, professionalism and availability. We discovered details of New York that we would never have imagined or could have found in any guide. Master of his craft, Frank is not only able to satisfy any curiosity but is also available to modify the itinerary based on the wishes of the most curious visitors.
We chose the Downtown tour but, if it had been possible, we would have toured the entire city with Him.
Needless to say, the tour is highly recommended!

Given the great reviews, we booked 4 tours with Frank.
A few days before arriving in New York, we were told that there were organizational problems with the Harlem tour and that it was cancelled.
We stay for Monday, downtown tour. There were 4 of us, an excellent idea to travel in small groups. Frank immediately proves to be very nice, helpful and explains to us how to overcome the difficult obstacle of the New York subways and the history of New York.
After 10 minutes from the start we stop for a "work break" where over a coffee he explains what we will see. After about half an hour we continue our journey, him in front and us behind. Every now and then he stops and tells us this is what I told you, let's go. After 20 minutes of walking we stop on some benches and he continues to tell us other details, we start again after half an hour and he is also there in front and a few small stops to show us what he had explained to us. The tour was like this all day from 9am to 3.30pm with a longer stop for lunch in an Italian bar.
The next day, the trip was canceled due to flooding on the subway.
We arrive at the last trip, Brooklyn where we were with a nice family of 4. He takes the subway, is warned that he had forgotten two customers and becomes nervous. After about 15 minutes we are sitting in an Italian pizzeria. While someone eats a pizza, he eats a dessert, he goes back to talking about the history of New York. After about 40 minutes, we asked if we could walk while he talked so we could see something. He gets nervous about the request, saying that this isn't how he works, but he decides to get up and walks quickly to a place where he can sit.
It resumes the history of New York, pulling only the family towards itself, which lasts about an hour, and at the end in 10 minutes it explains the murals we had around us.
He invites the family to go away to take photos and asks us if everything was okay because we interrupted him and changed his way of working. We simply told him that we would like to walk in the meantime also because we had already heard the story of New York. He said it wasn't the right tour for us and dismissed us, making us separate from the group.
Bad days can happen to anyone, but honestly for $100 each I expect a different type of driving, without 10 stops and not the guide who walks quickly through the streets of New York where you often stay behind to calmly see or do photo.
These are tours that are great for those who want to visit slowly, with many stops between benches and strictly Italian bars (in some cases just for the name)

1) a differenza delle mie gite che durano 6-7 ore, le gite dei miei concorrenti durano 2-3 ore; dato la durata dimezzate di queste gite l'andamento è più "compresso" rispetto alle mie gite che sono più passeggiate più discorsivi con soste nei tanti giardini cosi caratteristiche di New York (Father Demo Park, Washington Square Park);
Russo."
Un caro saluto, Frank de Falco
P.S. Mi ha commosso molto la foto della tua nonna e mamma che hai messo sulla cover page di FB e ti ringrazio di cuore per aver accettato il mio invito di stringere amicizia

Wonderful walking trip with Frank. We crossed the meatpacking district, Chelsea Market, West village towards Greenwich where we got to know the origins of off Broadway culture. But the gem is New York's Highline and how from an old elevated road destined for oblivion it has become a symbol of cultural rebirth. In short, Mr Frank showed us a deep and intimate glimpse of New York that would be difficult for a simple tourist to decipher, I highly recommend him and I thank him for the lovely day spent.

We chose to use Frank's guide for our trip to New York on the advice of friends and it was really worth it. Three days spent in the neighborhoods of Manhattan (Meatpacking, Greenwich, Chelsea, West Village and Harlem) and Brooklyn, full of stories, information and real life masterfully told by Frank. Style and manners different from the typical tourist guide but which made us feel at home in the company of a friend, like during stops in cafés sitting at the table listening to the most varied stories. Personally, I have to thank Frank for his advice on some readings about New York which will give me the opportunity to continue dreaming of still being in that splendid city.
In turn we will therefore still recommend contacting Frank for a visit to New York with a real New Yorker.

If you are looking for the classic guide that brings loads of tourists to hyper-crowded and touristy places... well, Frank is MUCH MORE!!!
A truly kind, polite person who is very pleasant to talk to, he immediately put us, our interests, curiosities, needs first... to understand what to talk about, where to orient ourselves, and also when to stop for a break. a bar... in short, create a "tailor-made" guide for us! And so it was!
In addition to knowing the history, culture and society very well, he gave us truly "unpublished" and interesting anecdotes, giving enormous added value to our guide.
In addition to seeing the highlights for any tourist, he took us to the places with the most breathtaking views! And alongside this, he introduced us to neighbourhoods, people, stories and anecdotes that we would have discovered and appreciated in no other way... And this is the side that I appreciate most about visiting a city: discovering, "getting lost" in the less touristy places and among the local inhabitants.
I can only recommend a guide with a true New Yorker like Frank!!

In January we visited NYC with our 11 and 16 year old Sons and Grandparents. To visit Harlem we relied on Frank, as suggested by Carlo Galici (author of the blog/podcast in New York with Carlo) and it was a fantastic experience. Frank welcomed us with sympathy, professionalism and preparation and immediately accompanied us to attend a service in a Baptist Church where we actively participated and enjoyed the wonderful Gospel songs. Frank then told us the fascinating story of Harlem, a neighborhood with multiple revivals. We visited the residential districts up to the Apollo Theatre, temple of music where greats like Michael Jackson and Aretha Franklin performed.
Frank was very attentive to the needs of our diverse group in terms of age and energy and his culture allowed us to appreciate the rich history of New York. Thank you very much Frank! See you soon CIFF and Grandparents

Frank is an expert, prepared and, above all, very engaging guide! We did two tours, Uptown Manhattan and Brooklyn, immersing ourselves in the reality of the city and feeling part of history. With his stories, Frank also held the attention of our 22-year-old nephew, adapting the linguistic register.
The programs were tailored to our needs and Frank went even beyond what was expected in terms of time, demonstrating boyish enthusiasm and energy and making our experience in NY unforgettable.
I recommend a tour guided by Frank to everyone!
