GREAT DAY!

My friend and I originally planned our NYC trip to go to the MET for an exhibit. Our primary purpose and highlight of the trip quickly changed when I found this shopping experience! Planning then revolved around this!! The excitement built for a month. Parker communicated with us throughout that time—asking us what we like, what we don’t like, what we are looking for, even a great place for breakfast before our shopping trip. When the shopping began, it was clear she paid attention to all the details we provided because she had arranged personalized shopping at three fabulous designers’ studios; and each had clothes we loved in our sizes on display ready for us to try on. I am a shopaholic so I was in heaven!!! Parker was fabulous at sharing information about the design business and the designers she selected. The designers were fabulous at what they do—making beautiful clothes in beautiful fabrics. And the quality is top notch. I could go on and on….suffice it to say, it was a great experience and certainly the highlight of our 3 days in NYC. If you get the opportunity, do this!! My only regret was not buying even more beautiful items!!!

Back for a Fourth Tour!

We recently completed our fourth Style Tour with Karen. Except for 2019 with the Covid situation and the closure of the city, we have done an annual trip to NYC since 2017 and a half day with Karen has been one of the highlights each year. This time, Karen worked diligently to find designers who would be back in their show rooms and open to visitors. And, she succeeded by once again pairing us with perfect matches for our style, look and budget. At our request, she brought us back to one of our favorite jewelry designers and introduced us to some new clothing lines. It was a fun day and allowed us to add to our wardrobes while also doing some Christmas shopping at the same time. She is at the top of her game with learning about the customer and pairing them with the perfect designers. Thanks again Karen. We look forward to seeing you later this year for visit five.

Great day with Karen

I bought my wife a tour for Christmas. Karen was easy to work with and did a lot of preliminary work in an attempt to match my wife's style with the perfect designers. Each designer was fantastic and the day could not have gone better. I would definitely recommend this tour either as a gift or if you are just looking to refresh your wardrobe with some unique pieces.

I have been shopping with Karen Parker O'Brien since 2015 and was thrilled to be back in NYC this week after much too long! The shopping tour was FABULOUS as always and we had a blast. Parker has an exquisite eye for fashion and she gets to know you over time but is also careful to ask the newcomer detailed questions to curate your entire shopping experience. Shopping in New York with Parker is so much fun!!! I highly recommend you try this unique behind the scenes experience.

Ready for Round Five

My family and I went on our fourth shopping tour with Karen last month. We decided to visit two new designers and one that was familiar to us. We were amazed how each designer truly cared for the happiness each one of their client’s showed as we tried on various types of clothes and jewelry. I found each designer helped give us confidence in what looked good on us and offered their own personal opinions when we needed assistance. Karen was very helpful and kind, as always. She has truly nailed her designers with our style each time we visit. I’m really looking forward to round five next time we vacation New York City!

Best NYC experience!

My Aunt and I went on our first Shopping Tour more than 5 years ago. We needed a style refresh after COVID so we booked another tour for October 2022. We saw some repeat designers (per our request) and new ones too! The clothing style and quality was amazing and it was exactly what we were looking for. The jewelry blew us away! Karen has a knack for finding designers that have great statement pieces but also staples that you can wear everyday. If you’re looking for an authentic NYC experience, this is it! Thanks (again) for an amazing experience Karen!

A truly unique experience

This has become an annual event for me and my 2 stepdaughters. We not only have a great time, but the items and designers that Karen carefully curates for each of us, is one-of-a-kind and of the highest quality. Karen always makes the experience unique and we walk away feeling exhilarated and satisfies our shopping cravings (at least until next year!)

The most amazing birthday surprise!

My husband tells me to be dressed and ready by noon for my birthday surprise. Somewhere downtown we meet a lady dressed super cool. Still no clue what’s going on. Parker is her name and fashion is her game. Let me start by I’m not a shopper. I love nice clothes, I like looking nice but not the experience of trying on, searching for sizes etc. Then I hear I’m going on a 5 hr shopping spree in actual design shops, behind the scenes not in stores, how cool!First place was a beautiful showroom where I met the designer. I sat on a couch with a glass of champagne in my hand while Parker and the designer are showing me tons of beautiful clothes that were already picked out for me. I felt like Julia Robert’s in Pretty Woman. Parker worked with my husband and children to get a sense of my style and size. I wanted everything I tried on but decisions had to be made because we still had two more showrooms to visit. The next place was very different but just as awesome as the first. I saw clothes being made and also met the designer. Unique clothes that nobody I know will have. I tried on a polkadot shirt which I never would have considered. I loved it! It was a bit too small so the designer said, no worries that they would just make me one. Third shop was a full workroom and also very different from the other two but also just as wonderful. Parker was able to read my mind and exposed me to all different color schemes that worked much better for my complexion. Parker would tell me when she didn’t like something. Never pushed me to buy anything and genuinely loved helping me have not only a new wardrobe but a fantastic day. By the end of the day I felt like we were great friends. This was the best birthday gift I ever received. I’ll be sending my husband a lot of little hints to do this again next year.

Fantastic opportunity to shop and plan your wardrobe even if it's adding a few pieces, starting from scratch or updating current. This is just too special to miss - highly recommend. Karen is amazing at what she does, excellent at matching designers with your desires.

Our second tour, just as great as the first

This was our second tour with Karen and just as fun as the first! Absolutely a must do experience for any fashion lover. We saw some new designers and returned to some old favorites. Highly recommend as a truly memorable experience and can't wait to book again soon!
