Hard to believe what we saw began in 2010. Great cast, great music, hilarious satire poking the Mormons' companion elders out trying to save the heathens. Superb dancing and singing, great sets, fast paced, a real pleasure. At Eugene O'Neill theatre, a gem still. Do not miss this one if you like fast, funny, musicals.

If you are the easily offended type, this won't be for you. The language is as graphic as possible, and some of the imagery invoked may make religious people uncomfortable. However, the language and imagery do make a point about the idea of religions sending missionaries to poverty stricken areas of the world where people struggle to survive, and tell... More

The acting is really top notch. The politically incorrect humor is not for the faint of heart. If you are easily offended you will be harmed.

We waited until the ticket prices were more for princes vs kings! Had great seats, more to the side which were a bit cheaper. Didn't matter; we could see and hear everything. This is a fantastic show and well deserving of the awards and accolades. Hope I don't need a wheel chair by the time prices come down for Hamilton!!!

This show is great fun. I know some folks say it too politically incorrect, and they can just stay home. The music a just wonderful, the dialogue is well written and the actors are so talented. This will be the most fun you can have on Broadway.

Well done singing and dancing in aid of ridicule of the Mormon faith and racist charactiture of black Africa. It is funny in the way that racist jokes are funny if you are not the target. It still remains one of Broadway's hottest tickets.

What can I say, 'The book of Mormon' was fantastic, standing ovation! Not for those who are easily shocked by swearing and blasphemy. The story is actually quite entertaining and the acting superb. Truly a must see event in New York.

Unlike The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time, which was adapted for the stage from a book, The Book of Mormon was written and developed specifically for the stage. The book, lyrics and music by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone was 7 years in development before premiering in 2011. It turned out to be an... More

Went to see Book of Mormon with my husband who are big fans of Trey Parker & Matt Stone anyway. We've also seen Avenue Q as well and enjoyed that! It's hilarious but also a great story. Don't get me wrong even us who are as open minded as they come gasped a couple of times but that's all part... More

What can I say? I didn't want it to end. It was brilliant. Unless you have delicate sensibilities, you need to go and see this. I think it would have been even better if I had known a little bit about Mormon belief and background, but it was still hilarious. As others have said, drink prices were extortionate. The line... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
