What a fun activity! Not only was it funny, but we did this as a corporate activity and it was great to see people come out of their shells interacting with the characters. The good cop/bad cop stuff was hilarious. We also unfortunately had inclement weather, but the Live In Theater team was super flexible and we made it work in various conference rooms throughout our building. Thanks again so much for a great time!

Went with friends for an interactive Live in Theater event... Ryan Case of 1873. Got to walk the streets of Manhattan interviewing suspects playing detective/cops. Overall a great experience for 2 hours of crime solving. There were 4 groups and we were each given a map to follow to get to each location to interview the characters and figure out who dunnit!
My friends and I were on a team of 8 and were the only group to successfully solve the crime with one of my friend's giving passionate presentation of who dunnit and got an applause from everyone!
It was great to play good cop/bad cop... especially bad cop on the streets. When playing bad cop, folks thought there was a real argument or something going on taking pictures and bystander almost getting into it with one of the actors.
However, there were a couple of improvements that can be made.
1) Give the participants a heads up that the actors we are interviewing are dressed in costume. We were grilling folks on the streets that were staring at us who swore up and down they weren't part of the act! And we were looking for non-existent clues.
2) Please make sure the actors are in their positions /location.
We spent 15-20 minutes at the 1st spot and given this was the 1st time, we didn't know what or who we were looking for. It was a waste of our time and had to come back to the start point at the end to interview the character. There were 2 characters out of the 5 that were not in their positions and had to call out to us. Not fun and lost time as we had to be called back at the end...
Tip: if you think the price is high, look for discounts to make this reasonable cost.

What a wonderful company. Carlo and his team did an outstanding job, start to finish! It was a pleasure coordinating a private performance for a group of 50 adults with disability. We had an accessible performance space, an enthusiastic staff that was engaging and really in character. Carlo was clear and timely from the initial outreach, provided a contract, receipts and information all about the day to ensure a really wonderful for all. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for something different and fun in NYC when you think you've done and seen it all.

Everyone enjoyed the show and had a great time! Great staff interaction. Cleared the colorful language with employees prior to attending. Characters were great, service was spot on and afterwards headed across the street to Rosario's to share a few pizza's!

The students had a great time looking for the suspects in the neighborhood, and then compiling the "evidence" they collected and coming to a conclusion (in teams) of who the "murderer(s)" could be. WONDERFUL activity, and great improvisational skills from the actors. Ours was a school group (Choir) from Michigan.

We hired LIT for a private holiday party event for our Board of Directors, and it was a total hit! We were nervous the show would be "hokey" or "low brow," but it was anything but that. The actors really respected the private residence, the audience, and their own craft. The whole story was exciting and kept us interested and surprised the entire evening. All our board members left still laughing and discussing the final reveal. It's going to be hard to top this holiday party next year. Overall, from start to finish it was incredibly easy to work with LIT, and I would absolutely recommend them!

I didn’t know what to expect walking into this and I was really impressed with the originality and execution. You’re part of a murder mystery playing out in the city streets where actors wait for you and offer their testimony in response to questions. It was lots of fun and the acting was really good. Highly recommended activity!
