Long running off-Broadway... But why?

Went to this play. Interesting little 4th floor theatre. Another play was on the third floor. This play was "on sale" at the TKTS booth. I now know why! The gentleman at the TKTS... read more

Very disappointing evening on Broadway - have been better entertained at my children's school play. Despite being in a small theatre could not always hear what was being said. We paid $96 to watch dismal acting of an appalling script. Have no idea what it was all about - not even sure who the victim was! Perhaps I nodded off... More

First, if you are going to waste your money on this show, google it and find a promotion site to get the tickets online for $31. Box office charges $61. It is a small theater that sells drinks etc on the 4th floor and you can bring them in. The lead's only claim to fame is that she has always... More

Nice theater...mediocre acting....terrible plot. We were happy that they had 'cliff notes' available after the show. Would not recommend.

The crime is that the female lead is a terrible actress! This is the worst play I have ever seen! I was shocked that it was so bad, considering that the play has ran for so long. I'm glad that the price wasn't too bad, or I would be even more anger about the waste of my time and money.... More

Maybe fifteen people in the audience and I got a half price groupon. Plot is contorted. Thought about leaving at intermission but thought maybe it would get better. It didn't. Should have gone to trip adviser and checked the reviews. Shoot me now. I seriously almost fell asleep.

The theatre was a bit empty, perhaps because this play has run for so long. It was entertaining and funny in places although somewhat old fashioned. You have to pay close attention at the beginning to fully understand the story.

We enjoyed seeing Perfect crime. It was an inexpensive small off-Broadway production. The theater is very small. The actors were all very good and the play was enjoyable.

My daughter and I decided to see this matinee before checking TripAdvisor - what a mistake! The lead actress who has been playing this part for 30 years should have given it up 20 years ago - the screaming, aggressive, rushed lines while she trips around the mini stage in heels she can no longer walk in is an embarrassment... ...it was the theft of an hour & forty five minutes of our lives (not to mention the price of the tickets). This was THE WORST play that I have ever seen! We thought that a play that has been running for 12,025 performances had to be good - we were soooo wrong. Even though there were several red flags... More

Went to this play. Interesting little 4th floor theatre. Another play was on the third floor. This play was "on sale" at the TKTS booth. I now know why! The gentleman at the TKTS booth told us that if we liked crime drama tv shows, we would love this play. How wrong he was! The theatre itself is tiny. Not... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
