Its a great way to get the lay of the land and some background about NYC. Tour guides inconsistent, some were good, some not so good. Bus times were not consistent. We did the uptown, downtown and night tour. The night tour was excellent, you...More
Download the app! It was really helpful determining where to get on and off the bus, as well as timetable! The bus passes most major attractions, is a little steep in cost but is one of the cheaper ones. We didn’t hop on and off...More
We bought our tickets at a discount from an official vendor on the street. She said the buses ran until 1 a.m. Our driver announced it was the end of the line at 6 p.m. There is a night bus tour, which we did not...More

I took both the day and night tour. Day tour guide (Noah) was awesome, providing great information on the way - History behind the name 'Times Square', Soho's fashionable building were designed to be industrial houses etc

Visited with a friend and we had bought our bus tickets online. We were not told we had to go to a certain location, nor were we given an address, to have our tickets validated. Then it took so long to find the right bus...More
Our driver Sergio was great. He did great with how much traffic there was last night. The tour guide (don’t remember his name) seemed drunk he made very obscure references, and constantly talked about Sex and the City. I would guess based off the responses...More
On the way from the start point until the Statue of Liberty we had a tour guide that was hard to understand. We asked how often the buses came so that when we came out of the Statue of Liberty we could pick it up...More
We’ve got a New York pass and a days worth of big bus travel is included. Our guide Steve was awesome, great sense of humour and encyclopaedic knowledge made the tour fantastic (despite freezing on the top deck of the bus). Definitely recommend this to...More
I had read rave reviews about Big Bus and was insistent we use them instead of the multiple other options. I think we overpaid, the bus ride was slow, the guides were okay, we had to unload, walk a block and the sit on a...More
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

Worth the multi day pass the downtown tour is really good for seeing the city at night. Weather permitting the open roof view will give you some spectacular sights. Downside of night tour is you will want to get off and explore so many of the stop points and of course there is no later bus to catch back to your hotel. I would say it’s almost worth using in the day and doing the night run on this part.
Midtown was architecturally stimulating...lots of neighborhood venues and a good day run
Was out of time before the Harlem Northern run
Which is another fascinating view of Manhattan
Bet it’s goid either day or night though again you can’t explore on foot as there is no later bus to catch! It’s an incredible place to try to take in...the bus tour is for sure a great way to get an overview of this unique island!
