I own several pieces and called to order a bracelet as a gift for a friend. Was told rather brusquely that the salesperson would call back after checking stock. Three days later I hadn't received a call, so I called again. No apology or explanation (a simple "sorry about that" would have been fine); we repeated the same performance (ie.,... More

I was looking forward to buy some nice fine jewellery at Me&Ro's online store. The whole ordering process was attented by glitches. First, the given price for one item was wrong in the order confirmation (computer glitch). Then, after serving the complicated credit card authorization prozess (which does not make sense at all, after the credit card already had been... More

I completely agree with the previous review. Rude and disinterested service. Man who is the Manager is totally unknowledgable and snippy at best. Unoriginal pieces at ridiculous prices. Why bother?

I had admired a piece of Me&Ro jewlry that a friend owned, so on a recent visit to the city decided to stop by the store. There are a wide variety of pieces to choose from, at a wide variety of prices. I think probably the least expensive items run around 100.00. I read the previous review, and perhaps the... More

Long story short, I saw a necklace on the ME & RO website and called customer service to ask if I could order it in platinum instead of gold. The gal said "yes" but that I would have to call the store. So I called the store and ordered it. I had checked the website for the return policy and... More

Staying in Nolita

Neighborhood Profile
Despite being just off of busy Houston Street, Nolita maintains a low-key vibe that makes it a pleasant retreat in the heart of lower Manhattan. Short for “North of Little Italy,” Nolita was once considered to be part of Little Italy. Today, the neighborhood is popular with young fashionistas popping in and out of the chic independent boutiques that line Mulberry, Mott and Elizabeth Streets. In addition to shopping, there are cozy restaurants and sidewalk cafes serving everything from new-school Italian food to the world-famous cronuts. While small in size (Nolita stretches just a few blocks in each direction), it’s a great neighborhood to spend an afternoon people watching, window-shopping, and grabbing a bite to eat.
