You call, we listen, and then suggest the perfect day for you in the most interesting neighborhoods: Greenwich Village, Chinatown, Times Square and many more, sampling the best foods the City has to offer. This is nothing like a bus tour; it's a personal experience where the history is part of the tour, but the behind-the-scenes stories are part of us.

My daughters and I were on college visits. We ended our weekend with the food tour. We loved everything about this tour. Our guide, Jen, was great! We learned a little history and ate tons of food. Our only regret was that we didn't do the food tour first. We look forward to doing this again.

This is our second time using Manhattan Walking Tours. We did the HIghline/Greenwich Village food tour before. They are fantastic! We did their newest tour of Grand Central Station. I, honestly, was a tad dubious about doing a food tour a a railway station. Goes to show how little I knew! My new favorite food in the world is at the... More

We did the Highline and Greenwich Village food tour with guide Nancy. It was top-notch... She was the best kind of tour guide -- easygoing and full of interesting info, history, and gossipy tidbits. Trying to do it on your own would not even compare. We made six foodie stops, including at Bleeker Street Pizza, Aux Merveilleux de Fred and... More

My husband and I did the combo Greenwich village food and historic downtown walking tour with our guide, Jen. It was a really interesting and delicious afternoon of history and food. We're really glad we went and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to taste some delicious local treats and learn about some history along the way!

We were in NYC "touristing" for my husbands b'day. On our last visit a year ago we took the Highline/Greenwich Village tour and we still talk about how much we enjoyed it. Our experience this time was just as good. Our guide , Jen, was personable and filled us in on the development of the Hells Kitchen neighborhood and how... More

We did the combination Highline/Greenwich Village Food Tour. There were a total of five people on the tour. This tour was one of the highlights of our week in New York. The Highline was crowded with tourists, even on a Tuesday morning in late September, but it is worth seeing. Nancy was an expert at pointing out great spots for... More

We had a lot of fun walking and eating with Alex on a sunny day. Alex is very funny and knowledgeable. He told us a lot of good stories throughout the tour. We enjoyed the tour so much that we booked a Hell's Kitchen + Central Park tour for the next day. Todd, our tour guide for Hell's Kitchen is... More

The High Line park is a very interesting place to visit, but don't do it alone! Having an engaging, knowledgeable tour guide (Alex Drywa) changes it from just a walk to a fascinating history and cultural lesson. We then went on a food tour of Greenwich Village - sample lots of New York iconic foods - from pizza to bagel... More

The Bleaker Street Pizza and Faicco's Italian deli were the highlights in food. Tour Guide was knowledgeable of history and architecture.

Hells Kitchen Food tour gave us a great ethnic variety. Nancy did well as our local tour guide with providing lots of interesting facts about the area and the restaurants we visited. Would recommend this Tour.

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighborhood life.
