Check out our website for specials and discounts. 8 people or less Guaranteed! Our tours are like having a friend in NYC showing you around their neighborhood. You call, we listen, and then suggest the perfect day for you in the most interesting neighborhoods: Greenwich Village, Chinatown, Times Square and many more, sampling the best foods the City has to offer. This is nothing like a bus tour; it's a personal experience where the history is part of the tour, but the behind-the-scenes stories are part of us.

We had never heard of the High Line tour so we booked it and discovered a real treasure! Would DEFINITELY recommend it. Alex was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable, entertaining and helpful. Had a small group and had no trouble winding our way through the area on our tour. Lots of interesting sights!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Nancy as our tour guide! We did the High Line/Greenwich Village tour. Nancy is so knowledgable and truly loves her city. She went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. She even made sure we got on the right subway after the tour and sent us some restaurant... More

The heat was enough to make anyone stay indoors next to the air conditioner, but Nancy managed to keep us going with her knowledge and interesting stories about The Highline and the West Village. My son was particularly delighted when we moved onto the food part of the tour - and the delicious edibles were (almost) guilt free because we... More

We had such a great time learning about the city and the food was fantastic! Our Guide, Alex, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. It was a great daytime adventure and we'd highly recommend it to visitors as well as local New Yorkers.. Great activity for a New Yorker with out-of-town guests!!

The tour was AWESOME! Alex was the guide and he was amazing. He really knows his stuff and takes you along the journey. The highline was great and Alex was able to give history of the highline and the city. It was great as an Australian to hear about some of the history of New York City. The food walking... More

While my friend Rachael was in town this last weekend, we had the pleasure of taking a Food and Historical walking tour thru the West Village and Financial District with Manhattan Walking Tours. We had a blast! My friend had never been to NYC and out of the many many things we did and saw, she maintains that the walking... More

It was a fun tour with great food, and history facts. I did a lot of different things during my stay. This was my favorite part. This is a must do if travelling to the city.

We've been to NYC many times and were visiting our younger daughter (who lives in the city) for her birthday. My wife wisely decided to spend our daughter's birthday afternoon with Alex of Manhattan Walking Tours. Alex texted us about 45 minutes before our 12:30 start to make sure we knew where to meet him and how he was dressed... More

The highlight of the Hell's Kitchen/Central Park tour combination was Central Park (see my photos below), on this warm and sunny Wednesday. We stopped at almost all of its highlights that could be included in a reasonable amount of time allotted to see the park. The good thing about Nancy as our tour guide was that when there was an... Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighborhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighborhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighborhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.
