Check out our website for specials and discounts. 8 people or less Guaranteed! Our tours are like having a friend in NYC showing you around their neighborhood. You call, we listen, and then suggest the perfect day for you in the most interesting neighborhoods: Greenwich Village, Chinatown, Times Square and many more, sampling the best foods the City has to offer. This is nothing like a bus tour; it's a personal experience where the history is part of the tour, but the behind-the-scenes stories are part of us.

Our daughter booked this as a surprise birthday present and it was fabulous. Todd was a brilliant host and very knowledgeable. We really saw the city through the eyes of a local. Places we had walked past the previous day were revealed as hidden gems. We had a gourmet tour of Greenwich Village with amazing Pizza and the worlds largest... More

Alex was the best tour guides I have ever been escorted by. Between the most interesting facts about New York, the delicious hidden gems around the city in terms of food; this tour was SUPERB ! thank you so much Alex. I will definitely recommend this tour to both tourists and natives.

Alex was a great guide and had lots of information to share. Loved the fact it was such a small group so it felt like walking round with a group of friends. Excellent food choices in Greenwich Village and the portion sizes were amazing - so glad I'd had a small breakfast. We even went for a drink after the... More

Took the High Line and Greenwich Village Food Tour with our guide Alex on Saturday, July 23, 2016 and had an absolute blast - we can't wait to book another tour (or two) with Manhattan Walking Tour on our next trip to New York! Alex made a point of texting us about 30 minutes before our tour started making sure... More

Garry was a great host with wonderful stories of the history of the meatpacking area and excellent tastings in Greenwich Village. The pizza at Bleeker Street was awesome and the Faicco's deli meat was amazing - fresh and flavorful, an all around great 3.5 hours. My 17 year old son thoroughly enjoyed the trip too!

One of the best ways to really experience New York is to take a history/culinary walking tour. I did the High Line/Greenwich Village tour with my husband, parents and two teen sons. My boys loved Gary's stories. Without the history, we would not have grasped the significance of the High Line and how it has rocketed to become one of... More

Garry gave us an exceptional experience and we learned a great deal from our Hells Kitchen and Central Park walking tour. We even returned to L'ybane for dinner later that night before our theater event. We enjoyed Greenwich Village tour last year and this tour was just as exceptional.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
