We opened a brides account which entails all item to get a 10% discount. We were looking to have as many members of the family shop at Saks.
The store is poorly stocked. The selection is limited and even if the time is right there...More
All Saks Fifth Avenues are horrible if there is a problem with an order not received or any problems after making a purchase. The store is a half way decent store to make a purchase. Good customer service is how well you are treated when...More
What can I say. Worth 5 stars for the amazing light show and window dressings. Absolutely stunning and made my holiday complete. It reminded me very much a mainstreet in Disney World.
If you went in store they had a fantastic view of the Rockafella...More
We moved from the Rockefeller Christmas tree to Saks for the Light show on the Christmas Eve. The show was brilliant, worth all the hassles of being pushed around in the crowded street. Kids would certainly love this. It's indeed a treat to see each...More
Visited the weekend after thanksgiving and happened across Saks by mistake when walking back to our hotel.
First off, so many people on the streets watching and then wow, what an impressive light show on the front of the store.

This show is a must to see and sort of the centre piece of all the christmassy things happening on 5th Avenue. Its occurs on a regular basis, I think once every hour in the evening once it is dark (might be incorrect on the...More
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

I do not see a schedule online but it normally starts in late November, after the Thanksgiving Day Parade (also known as the Macy's Parade) on November 22nd. The Rockerfeller Tree Lighting takes place on November 28th. The Saks light show is daily starting at 5pm to 11pm and replays every 10 minutes at Saks on Fifth Avenue between 49th & 50th Sts. The best viewing is from Rockefeller Center!
