This is the store everyone has heard about. It is in movies, books and even in some people’s dreams. It is worth a walk about just to see how the rich and famous shop. You won’t believe your eyes when you hit the 8 th...More
I don’t think I can buy from them again. I had to return 3 items total, within a year and they did not receive any of them. Something is not right.

This mythological store worth a visit even if do not intend to buy anything. you can have a look at the high price items and you can buy even some items that you can afford. Clean, spacious and with good taste.
We came to Saks 5th to look for some items that we like to buy in their LV store because the other bigger store do not have the items we were looking for per our phone inquiry.
Usually, there is a queue but for some...More
We expected a LOT more from Saks. The interior was boring and a disappointment. The only highlight was their price of 95 dollars for a pair of Falke socks. They really need to book their designers onto a JFK-LHR flight and get them to visit...More
Visited here and was completely unimpressed. Shop appeared characterless. Lots of white and plain boring. Assistants didn't look the road we were on. Think the staff should take a stroll to Macy's and learn how to interact with customers. Needless to say we left with...More
This is mecca for those who are brand and fashion conscious. If you have a brand in mind, most likely you will find it here. They have quite a large collection for men too, but for women it seems like their second home (well some...More

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

I do not see a schedule online but it normally starts in late November, after the Thanksgiving Day Parade (also known as the Macy's Parade) on November 22nd. The Rockerfeller Tree Lighting takes place on November 28th. The Saks light show is daily starting at 5pm to 11pm and replays every 10 minutes at Saks on Fifth Avenue between 49th & 50th Sts. The best viewing is from Rockefeller Center!

Yes, the light display at Rockefeller will be lit until January 7 at 9:00. I have been in NYC for New Year's Eve to see the ball drop at midnight. Amazing experience with people worldwide, like you! The Rockefeller tree and lights on Saks Fifth Ave are lit for a week past the new year, until January 7. Bryant Park has kiosks, many little tent shops, with sales of candies, hats/gloves, collectables. These tents are up past the New Year, too. I have always been surprised they keep this fantastic area open with its shops around the ice skating rink, too! Have a wonderful time!!!
