This show is a must to see and sort of the centre piece of all the christmassy things happening on 5th Avenue. Its occurs on a regular basis, I think once every hour in the evening once it is dark (might be incorrect on the...More

The Saks Fifth Avenue store is their flagship store. Very high end brands available. The perception is that their customers are not price conscious as the prices of items are more expensive than other stores. The store is under restoration so it’s challenging to get...More

Theater of Dreams is a name of Saks Fifth Avenue Christmas window displays. They are gorgeous, it is a symphony in red... However, I was a bit disappointed with the merchandise and the overall look of the Saks flagship store. The prices were way higher...More

The flagship store of Saks on Fifth Ave/50th St. In NYC is undergoing a total renovation. I've been avoiding it for this reason but ventured in due to two gift cards about to expire. In three floors of women's clothing there is literally almost nothing...More

We were treated with an amazing light show the evening we went to the area where Saks is. We went back again another day to do some shopping and enjoyed the friendly staff. It’s not as crowded even when repairs were going on. One can...More

I thought Macy's holiday display was far better than Sak's Fifth Avenue. It still is a good place to look at handbags.

Boxing Day at San Francisco! (5 Replies)
will there be any sale going on on Boxing Day? I know the sales during Black Friday is crazy! (wish I'm there now!) Any suggestions which mall to hit first? I heard that Saks Fifth Avenue sale on Boxing Day is better than Neiman. Is that true?

Yes, Boxing Day (for those who don't know, it is the day after Christmas, December 26th) has special sales. But there are a few things to watch out for. First is the large amount of folks tyring to return items and exchange them for other items. Also, the popularity of Gift Card has been increasing each year, so you have a lot of folks who will want to spend them. So stores will be very busy places. My suggestion, but the local paper on Christmas Day, and check out the ads and...More

Please make other suggestions/ideas of things for us to do. We arrived on 12/21/17 and we leave on 12/27/17 (Wednesday) at 7pm. I will list...More
