We gave up on the accessories section because no one would help us even after we asked; we did eventually get assistance in picking out a couple pieces of silver jewelry and the woman helping us was perfectly nice, though the staff on that floor in general seemed to have an attitude. About a week ago we spent a weekend in New York. The highlight was visiting the Tiffany flagship store on Firth Avenue. The store has been under renovation for two a dv a half years and reopened earlier this year.
The store is spectacular. It is about eight stories, with different floors focusing on different luxury categories. This includes designer jewelry, silver, gold, engagement rings and tableware.
The staff is very friendly and approachable. They realize many people are just looking. You might be asked if you want a glass of sparkling water while you are shopping. The bathrooms are spectacular and worth a visit.
The store has a restaurant, The Blue Box Cafe. I found it difficult to get a reservation in advance, but learned they can accommodate walk ins at the bar, if you want to stop in for a coffee and a seat is available. One of the unique features is the ceiling of the Blue Box Cade is covered with Tiffany Blue boxes of all sizes. They serve breakfast and afternoon tea.
The store is awesome. It will take an hour or two simply to walk from top to bottom. Plan on spending awhile and enjoying every moment.
Are there negatives? Finding parking nearby means paying for a parking garage. That is standard for anyone driving into midtown Manhattan.

Make a reservation to look at items, you'll get a personal assistant and be treated with kid gloves. You'll be offered beverages and a personal assistant to show you anything you would like, they will even clean your existing jewelry. We could not leave NYC without buying my wife a few well-deserved pieces of NYC memorabelia. There are item at Tiffanys that you can purchase that do not break the bank.

Gorgeous new interior.
Be sure to see the ceiling on 5th level and the B at Tiffany little room. Do check out what you can do with aluminum foil!!
The BEST part for me: the staff. All amazing and friendly and
adorable and handsome and chic and full of energy.
When younger, we shapped at Tiffany all the time.
Even got gold wedding bands there.
Things are more pricey now!
The $30.00 key chain is now $220 or so.
BUT in your lifetime, if you can afford it, you
should have something from Tiffany. Go and enjoy. dr jst

Terrible customer service. They will spend all the time in the world making a sale, but God forbid should something happen to the item which it will since their quality doesn't match their price, be prepared to run around and be put on hold multiple times. Even though they have stores worldwide they work individually so if you take a gift overseas and have an issue, forget about it. It's as good as throwing money down the drain. Please walk to another jewelry store, you will get much much better service. I called them, was put on hold multiple times, sales guy parroted the same response and was so unhelpful and actually acted like he was doing me a favor by offering to fix my item literally a week after I bought it. Their signature post doesn't work. The earring fell off and we were lucky to even find it. This was my first purchase and will be my last.

Nice store. Nice sales person. My complaint is why no prices of anything? How do I know if I can afford any of pieces? The store made me feel like I couldn’t afford anything (the saying: if you need to ask the price you can’t afford it). I walked out without buying anything when I was looking for a bracelet

Unfortunately this store is let down by very poor staff on the 5th floor luckily we had spoken to a lovely lady on the 6th floor who eventually assisted us. We waited on the 5th floor for over 30 minutes watching staff serve others before us. We were leaving the store but decided to go back to the 6th floor and purchased our item. The lady in question was Theresa and she was lovely, great service and a credit to Tiffany’s if only the other staff had been as nice it would have been a far more pleasant experience. Well done Theresa is most certainly a credit to Tiffany and customer service and dedication to a company.

Terrible telephone customer service in Milan.
I wanted to order a bracelet for an occasion through customer service, but I did not receive certain answers regarding the requested delivery times.
Furthermore, if you personalize the jewel you cannot return it and it is not possible to pay with Paypal (the only guarantee if something doesn't go right) unless you order from the site, which is impossible if you want to personalize the jewel in a different way from the few options they offer.
In short, after 3 days of telephone conversations, chats and emails, I am still waiting for a response to be sure that the order will be processed satisfactorily within the deadlines (a necessary guarantee considering that this is an important anniversary).

Had a great time shopping for the iconic heart bracelet, for myself, right before Christmas. They were super crowded of course, but still was nicely helped! My friend couldn't walk very well, so the sales professional came to her chair and helped her there in person.

We came to buy our daughter a present for her 18th birthday and this beautiful store did not disappoint. We had a leisurely look around all the floors which are lovely. Our daughter was helped to make her choice in a very leisurely and helpful way nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for making our daughters 18th an extremely memorable shopping experience. I would definitely recommend Tiffany Flagstore it’s stunning. Thank you.

I’d corresponded with Tiffany&co after booking my appointment with my preferences for the visit, so they could get the collections ready to avoid any disappointment. So imagine my shock when Erin Ford (my sales assistant) didn’t have my Size in what I’d been messaging them about for weeks prior to my visit! This was the flagship store!!! Disappointed doesn’t come close. Erin was rude and unhelpful and had no solutions and no apologies. She didn’t even see us out of the store. I expected more from Tiffany&co with it being such a prestigious company. We have sent an email but haven’t had a response. Have low expectations when you visit to avoid disappointment! I suggest seeing Clay at the Rockefeller centre and avoid the flagship store.

Yes, they do sell exclusive items. When you walk in on the 5th avenue side, ask the first person you see at the counter. They will direct you to the floors with the sales.

Hi my mother in-law bought a necklace from Tiffany’s at the rockerfella Center on a recent trip from the Uk. When she got back and took it out of its box it was discoloured. She phoned the London store who advised the child do nothing as it was purchased in NYC. Has anyone got any advice please? It’s such a shame as it was something she had saved for and get get no joy from it. Thank you. Julie

I am shocked that the London store responded as they did. I would bring the item and receipt to the London store as it is still a Tiffany & Co. product, ask the London store to send it back and they should ask New York to send another one, of course, on their dime. They probably didn't want to do that. If they value their business as high standard/high quality merchandise, then it is their job to own up to that. I understand as Tiffany & Co.'s flagship store is in New York, U.S.A., their is some more sentimental value as to the location as to where she bought it.
