This isn't really a mall. There is a pretty decent JCPenny's in the lower levels and then a tiny handful of rather uninspiring shops at ground level and above. No real eateries, aside from a Starbucks in a cart, and no benches to sit in...More
Visited the so called Manhattan Mall one afternoon in July. Started out at the bottom/subway level with JC Penny and worked our way up. Being from Canada it was nice to see Aeropostale again. Not the greatest shopping experience ever, but worth a short visit....More
This place is in need of a serious makeover. Old and rundown are two good adjectives to describe this Mall. the only good store there was JC Penny as the selection was huge but even that store seemed jam-packed to the point that you have...More
I spent a few minutes in here. It is basically like any mall except happens to be in Manhattan. I think on a hot summer day or a cold and windy day it would be nice to go in here and get away from the...More
Manhattan Mall is located in the heart of the busy shopping area but offers a very small variety of stores .
The largest store is JC Penny.
The mall has a Starbucks with no tables/ chairs to sit, simply grab the coffee and go.
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
You can check inside airport some stores offer electronic Items
but it's no nothing around JFK try to take Uber to do not spend to much money !!

Howz this place for eating a meal on the go? I haven't read much on these forums about this place. Seems to be close to Empire State Building.

Food courts are fast food places. All about the same. Something to gulp down with water or a soda. Inexpensive. Works if that's what you're looking for.

Manhattan Mall - worth spending some time there? (23 Replies)
I saw it advertised in a guide book, and was wondering if it would be worth going into. Does anyone know its exact location, and is anyone familiar with the Steve & Barry's that is located there? There is a Steve & Barry's close to where I live, and I was wondering if anyone could comment on the one in the Manhattan Mall. Thanks!

The Manhattan Mall is located on Broadway between 32nd & 33rd St. It is directly accessed by the B, D, F, V, N, Q, R and W subways plus PATH trains from Jersey City and Hoboken. It's a mall. It's has a decent food court. I don't think it is worth a special visit.

Probably suite 8 or south 8. This is a shopping mall and would identify which store inside the mall it is I'd guess.
