    Great Department Store
Such a great department store! I cannot get over how many expensive brands they have here. I bought myself some Michael Kors ear muffs at $25 and a Michael Kors purse for my mum at $60. We even went back later that day to scope out anymore offers they had on, so many different things to choose from. I love this store!

Not the Bargains I was Expecting
We visited the store on Courtlandt Street, which is set over 5 floor and very close to the World Trade Center Memorial. There are several designer brands on offer, but not the substantial discounts I was expecting. The store décor too is somewhat in need of a makeover. In my view you get better value in Macy’s.

    Quick shop stop
I always enjoy my visit to Century 21 Dept store, brings me back to my time when I worked for them. It's a busy store, but it has everything a person could ever need for a great price also. I recommend this store to everyone, especially those looking for a great deal.

Lots of shopping if you’re willing to search through the racks. Not a whole lot of organization. But some great deals to be had. I bought a pair of Hunter rain boots for $89 (usually $150+). I question the validity of some designer things... the Louis Vuitton seemed knock-off. And some of the security tag placement ruins the items... they put it through the heel of a shoe creating a hole in the leather (if it is real designer).

Clearly most of the positive reviews here about the new Century 21 were bought. After 15 yrs of annual wknd trips to NYC with C21 as the shopping highlight, I was DESTROYED to walk in and experience the downfall of what was once something that offered drop-dead deals on unique and fabulous designer finds all wrapped-up in a nostalgic maze of fun and adventure. Now its just another "welcome to the New Order" money gouging shopping mall with nothing special to offer. So disappointed. Big waste of time and a massive let down. SHAME on you Raymong Gindi! You could have made much better choices to save the old Century 21 but you blew it and your father must be rolling over in his grave with what you've done to his legacy. RIP the real Century 21 and may peace be with us all who new and loved it.

They’ve got great stuff at great prices but you really have to look. Things get misplaced and sorted awkwardly but it’s understandable as the store is massive. There is really high end stuff mixed with mall brands so you have to keep your eyes open but amazing deals can be had. Bought my girlfriend a pair of Louboutins for like 60% off retail. Definitely somewhere to visit.

I enjoy going to Century 21. I have been able to purchase brands like Calvin Klein plus others at very low prices. My son got beautiful collared sports shirts at great prices. One shirt that was especially nice was the Bonobos brand.

If a person wants to purchase a coat, they have a really big selection of different brands and styles.

I've always gotten terrific deals here. From dress shirts and ties to pants. I did get a great pair of khakis here that were $85 at Bloomingdales for $29 at C21. Always Great deals here.

I ordered online they sent me the wrong product twice (different brand) . I sent 4 emails/messages to customer service, nobody replied. I went to the store to return the product , they refunded but only the price of the product without taxes and shipping , they kept the taxes and the shipping fee . At the end it was a waste of time and loss of money for their fault. Not trustful at all. TO THE MANAGEMENT : whoever is in charge of answering emails and inquiries is not doing their job. No apologies , no explanation , no reply , no updates , no feedback . Nothing. Shame !!!

On Saturday I went to the Century 21 in Lincoln Square on West 66th Street. I live in the neighborhood and have shopped here before, I have been happy with my purchases in the past. I walked in on Saturday and saw a Furla that would be great for work. I have purchased Furla bags at the Furla store in NYC and in Italy so I am familiar with the brand. I took out the purse today, cut off the tags, went to vote and set off to work, before I even got off the subway, before I even made it into the office this morning, the handle broke. I later searched the Furla website and found no purse on their website that resembled that I purchased at Century 21. Upon further examination it did not seem to be as well made as my other Furla purses. So either Furla has gone downhill or this is a fake. I am surprised and disappointed with Century 21. I will probably have a problem trying to return it as well.

First thing we looked at was men's suit jackets, the selection was grim, TK Maxx style. After a minute or so I found a CK jacket for 99 USD, it was badly make, polyester and had no branding on the labels. The card labels were poor imitations of genuine CK labelling. This place should be shut down.

Century 21 is an excellent department store which features designer clothing at affordable (bargain) prices. Designer names such as Gucci, Prada, Armani, Iceburg, Parasuco- just to name a few, can be found at amazingly low prices. Be sure to be patient because racks are jammed with clothing and require time to pick through. The most dissappointing part was the line for the dressing room because I stood in line for about 20 minutes. (The dressing room is an open dressing room, so don't be surprised when you first walk in). Other than that, this store is great, and was a hit for me.

Century 21 is the best store on the planet for a particular kind of shopping, and it's not really the place for other kinds of shopping.

Don't go there the way you would go to a normal department store, looking for a specific thing, and don't bother going if you don't have 3 hours or more that you'd enjoy spending on a shopping adventure.

The best things you find here are designer clothes - from everywhere in the western world - often at extreme discounts. Some of the pleasure of the store for me is just getting my hands on things like a Narciso Rodriguez dress, or a Missoni, things I would not even encounter in my real-life shopping in places I can afford.

They do also have normal clothes, and you might well find a nice Ralph Lauren skirt reduced from usd 400 to usd 100, or an August Silk sweater set for a price comparable to a Filene's Basement price.

But my real finds have been: an Antik Batik winter coat, paisley pattern with metallic beadwork embroidery, usd 800 marked down to usd 125; a Versace short skirt of overlapping layers of scalloped black chiffon, decorated with rhinestones, 700 marked down to 100;a Kenneth Cole Reaction washed leather jacket, light as a feather, 420 marked down to 140.

One thing it's actually reliable for is socks, underwear, lingerie, and designer sunglasses (unless, again, you're fixated on one thing -- you won't find it but you will find something that was usd 500 someplace for usd 40 in C21). Many people I know don't shop anywhere else for this kind of thing. We pay about a third of the regular price.

Oh: gloves too -- this Christmas I found beautful long cashmere gloves for my friends, in assorted colors, usd 65 down to usd 20.

It's a big place -- four floors plus a separate shoe store. With limited time (mistake!!) -- head for the top floor, two escalator rides up, and the European women's designer section. A good time to go is Saturday evening for a slightly smaller crowd.

The men's clothes are very good and stylish too.

As to cosmetics -- I don't know that they reduce the prices, but they have big stocks of manufacturers' promotional items, like boxes of stuff, available, which is where you might save some money. A plus from my point of view is -- the cosmetics salespeople don't harass you the way they do in "real" department stores, and they don't care if you stand there and lovingly spray yourself with Chanel from head to toe.
