This was a beautifully run, fun activity with an outstanding guide. He was very organized, well informed about both the history of the area and the foods we tasted, and especially friendly and inviting. He took the trouble to really get to know the names of each of the ten members of our group. Hosts at the places we stopped were equally inviting and took pains to greet us.

We had a fun time on our Food Tour in the Lower East Side. Our guide, Ross, was very personable and told us interesting facts about the immigrant groups who lived in the area, the architecture of the buildings and, of course, the food, from the end of the 19th century through today. Many delicious tastes along the way. Make sure you come hungry!

This food tour was so much fun! We got 10 different tastings all while learning about the history of the Lower East Side. Our tour guide Adam was funny, knowledgeable, and even gave us recommendations on what to do on our last day in the city. The food was delicious and we definitely left feeling full. I am telling all of my friends about this!

We lucked out and got a private tour of pizza spots and Greenwich Village. Janet was a great tour guide, entertaining us with the history and stories of the area and the beautiful buildings. We visited three pizza places. Quite different from each other and all tasty and filling. I’m glad we walked for a few hours to work off the food and beer. It was a very fun way to see the neighborhood and enjoy some of what it has to offer.

The choice of restaurants and food was good and Ross did a nice job explaining the Jewish history of the lower east side and how some of the food was prepared. He also was good at making some changes to accomodate various food restrictions. I would recommend the tour to others.

We took the Lower East Side Tour. Our tour guide was really nice and she brought us to sample many different types of food such as Jewish deli, Dominican, Chinese dumplings, pickles, doughnuts and a couple more. Everything was very tasty and there was lots of interesting history of the neighborhood sprinkled in. The only downside was we had to wait a while in a couple of venues. But overall it was really fun and I would recommend!!

I learned so much about the history of the neighborhood, the city, and the food I got to try. All the places we visited were amazing! Finished the tour in the best way possible with Molly cupcakes. Our tour guide Ross was very knowledgeable, he took care of all the party and provided great insights of each of our stops.

I gave a gift of a walk tour to a few of my employees and there spouses. It was a great way to really get to now them outside of work. Even though half the people (the spouses) did know each other, there never was an awkward moment thanks to our guide. He kept us entertained and was very knowledgeable.

Our Lower East Side private food tour was so much fun. The food was amazing and we loved hearing the history of the restaurants and the area. Get out of the tourist hustle and get down to the real NY on the Lower East Side. A must do when you are in NY!

Our tour guide was extremely kind, courteous and knowledgeable. He kept us intrigued the whole tour and was able to answer any questions we had. The reason for the 3 stars is due to the hygiene and sharing of our portions at the food places. Nowadays with COVID and other ailments running rampant I felt that the way the food was served to us with the other participants on the tour could have been better. Every meal was family style, sometimes we just used our hands and toothpicks to share meals/snacks. While I was watchful of placing the toothpick directly in my mouth the other participants were not, which prevented me from trying more of the food. I felt it was very unsanitary given that I did not know these people. Hopefully this can somehow be fixed in the future to allow for better experience.

Some of the food is served family-style. However, everyone has their own small plates and nobody touches anyone else's food. We take sanitation very seriously, and we assure our guests they're the only ones touching the foods they consume. Come eat with us on our West Village food tour next time.
