Started out slow and hokey. Then the ride became very entertaining with wonderfully talented people. Very fun!!! We purchased the NY pass and definitely got our moneys worth. This was one of the most entertaining things we did in NYC. Won't ruin the surprises.

I did not know what to expect on this adventure, but I was pleasantly surprised by it. The ticket agents and Ride performers were funny and great story tellers. Here are some tips: 1. My six year old's attention was maintained and he loved the performers. I would say bring the kids. 2. If you have the NYC Pass get... More

What a fantastic RIDE! Everything about it was first class and extremely entertaining and just plain FUNny. The vehicle was amazing, the hosts were hilarious, knowledgeable, and quite talented, and the street performers were top notch. Who thinks up something like this? We saw the Broadway show Paramour earlier in the day, which was also outstanding, and saved the RIDE... More

There are many different ways to see New York City and get information on what you see. The double-decker buses, a personal tour guide, etc. The Ride is one of the most fun and interesting ways to do it, and it doesn't take all day to do. Warning: it is pricey, but can be had as part of a package... More

Our family of 5 were visiting NYC for the second time and had spotted The Ride on our previous trip. This town we purchased a New York Explorer 10 pass and the Ride is included as an option so we put it on the top of our list. It was so much fun, we all laughed and enjoyed ourselves the... More

I loved everything about the experience. The idea, the content, the ride, the hosts, the setup. Very original and truly genuine. The hosts were very funny and although the act is most probably considered routine to them, they never let you feel that. They are so good at what they do. The route was nice and I enjoyed the information... More

Booking was not easy as we were using the New York Pass and were not informed that we had to show up at 8 am outside the ticket office to stand in line for about an hour or so to request tickets for a specific time slot as they sell out by 9:30 am. This threw off our itinerary but... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
