If you are fans of GMA this is so much fun. I visited in October 2021 and to my knowledge they still aren't having an in studio audience so we just stood outside and watched through the window. It was better than I could have imagined though. There weren't very many people the morning we went which was nice so we could see in and watch them. It was so cool getting to watch it live and in person after watching the show every morning for years. Michael waved to us during commercials. And then the morning only got better when filming was done and ROBIN ROBERTS herself came out and said hi and took pictures with everyone. It was an absolute dream. I'd definitely recommend this experience to anyone who loves GMA.

Awesome experience. The staff was first class. Register ahead of time with 1iota! Dress warm as you are outside a while before going into the studio. We were able to meet the GMA team and get pics with a few. It was awesome!

My first time to GMA. Basically i just book my entry via apps Iiota. Is super easy to do. You can book for other people. Then your name will be in queue. They will send you a confirmation whether you are in. As tourist, passport is needed. I advice to book earlier as entry are limited.Go there earlier as you need to queue. 2 hours before the show.

We watch GMA most days. We requested tickets about a month or so before our visit to NYC and got general admission tickets within an hour or so. We hoped to be upgraded to priority but were not. We arrived at the studio a little before 6 am on a very cold rainy day. It was actually easy to see where to line up and, we felt, very organized. Because there was virtually no one in the priority line we (and everyone near us) was upgraded to priority and got in fairly fast. Everyone we had contact with was very pleasant!
It was so much fun to see behind the scenes! The warm-up guy worked very hard and really involved the audience. He was quite funny. Seeing the anchors was fun, seeing how it all works was both educational and enjoyable. We got good looks at all the anchors who were there that day. It was a high point of our visit to NYC. I highly recommend the experience as long as you accept some details, such as requesting tickets as soon as the date you want becomes available, the need to get there early, and the rules once you get in - such as using the bathroom before you get seated, not being able to leave and then renter and certain restrictions on using your cell phones. If you relax and embrace the experience you’ll have a great time!

The street side view through the windows on Times Square only works from 7 AM to 7:55 AM. Then they move to the second floor studio for the second hour where they have a live studio audience. 120 seats are available each day and the lines are long during tourist season. But we were there in November, and they were out on the street asking for people to join the audience, so we said "Yes" . There's airport style security screening to get in, you have to check coats, large bags / backpacks, and there can be a long wait if you go in early. We happened to be there on a day when Robin, George, Micheal, Lara and Ginger were all there, and it was also a Deals & Steals day where everyone in the audience walked away with about $100 in merchandise. Be prepared: depending on where you're seated, you won't be able to hear some of conversation. George in particular has a very quiet voice. We could hear Lara, Robin and Micheal talk, but Ginger was on the other side of the studio and we couldn't pick out what she was staying. They can't feed the audio back into the studio or it would create a feedback problem. The final nice surprise was that Robin and Ginger stayed after the show and posed for pictures with all the guests. A very memorable experience and a great way to see how a TV show is done.

My first time in NY includes a visit at Good Morning America studios and as part of the live audience.

It was nice and we love it. Not to mention they gave the audience a free Instantpot.

Yey, Good Morning America.

Overall it was a nice experience. We waited in line for quite awhile but I knew that was going to be the case. We made it through security and then had to wait again for about 20 minutes in a staircase by that time my feet started getting a bit tired. We were advised to use the restrooms as once we were seated we would not be able to leave.

Once we were seated the gentleman in charge of warming up the crowd and getting excitement going to a very good job. The show began and it was fun to watch the changing of the stage, props etc. They shot from different angles of the room. My husband showed up many times. Myself not at all as I was hidden in back of some man. Still a fun experience.

Would I go again, probably not, am I happy I went this time, yes, it was a positive experience.

Watching GMA Live was truly amazing! I saw Ginger Zee, David Muir, Robin Roberts and Michael Strahan. They are all very nice in person and Ginger and Robin even took pictures with all audience members after the show, which was so so nice!!
