We bought a one day hop on hop off for DowntownLoop and Brooklyn - we mainly wanted to see Brooklyn.
The guide for Downtown was great but the Brooklyn guide was quite rude and arrogant. He even said he was rude like most New Yorkers!

City Sightseeing New York Cruises provided an excellent tour and boat ride of the New York Skyline. The tour guide was funny and knowledgeable, and I would absolutely recommend the tour to others.
Though the rate listed on TripAdvisor is lower than what you would pay by booking directly through the tour company, be careful! We purchased multiple tickets through TripAdvisor (who contracts Viator to send the voucher). Unfortunately, the vouchers that Viator sent did not contain the correct barcode for the ticket. City Sightseeing New York was unable to verify the ticket without a barcode, so we ended up having to purchase new tickets directly from the company. Viator doesn't have a customer service number listed on the website, and I haven't heard back regarding the refund I requested. The folks at City Sightseeing were very pleasant and apologetic (although it was in no way their fault), and they said that this issue is common with Viator. I'm sure that when the vouchers do work it's a great deal, but it was very frustrating to pay for a service and never receive a redeemable voucher, apology, or refund.

We bought the 5 activity pass and went to use our last activity at the Alcatraz crime museum and after waiting in line at the attraction we were told they no longer accept the sightseeing pass when plain as day it’s on the webpage where you buy the tickets. This was the one attraction we really looked forward to doing and partially why we spent the expense and bought the passes. Called the sightseeing number and was basically told they were unaware of the problem and there was nothing they could do not even a partial refund. So buy at your own risk a lot of places on there weren’t fans of having to deal with it but luckily didn’t have much issues other than that

We booked a hop-on-hop off bus tour for 31st December 2023. The website said the tour would be operated by Big Bus Tours. I received my tickets by email and we turned up to join the bus on NYE. We waited over 30 mins and no bus turned up, and when I checked the BigBus website, it stated that they were not running tours that day. My children were upset that the first day of their holiday had been ruined. No emails or notification of this cancellation had been sent from City Sightseeing.
We ended up getting another bus tour that day, and having to pay yet again. I contacted City Sightseeing who refunded my money, but after the exhange rate difference, I am still out of pocket. I ended up paying more for the orifginal tickets than I was refunded. When I contacted them again to ask them to pay the difference they have ignored my emails.

We were due to travel to New York November 2020 and booked 3 sightseeing passes. A few weeks before our trip it became apparent that due to the pandemic it would not be possible to travel. We contacted the company in September to ask for a refund and were told the tickets were non refundable. On querying this along with the threat of making it known throughout the travel industry (of which I also work in but in the UK) I received a further email promising a refund. We are now almost at the end of January and following many emails and promises from them we still have no refund.
People will remember the reputable companies, the ones who were fair and honest, once things pick up again, however long that will be. This will not be one of those companies, absolute disgrace who clearly think nothing of treating their customers unfairly. Avoid at all costs.

Books tour for 11pm. Waited until 12am to board the bus then sat for another 40 mins on the tour bus before tour started. Staff very rude and did not communicate why there was a delay. Another tour bus came by and filled up while we were waiting and took off before us. Extremely poor service. We are frequent visitors to New York with family from out of state and will not recommend this tour.

The best way to travel for your first time in New York. We did the all around town route. Fab way to see the sights and the tour guides were very informative and hilarious depending on which guide you get. Definitely recommend this bus company

Do believe the official ticket resellers when they say you cab purchase the ticket anytime and activate it the bus portion anytime!!! They lied, they mis-sold! All they want to do is to get you to buy the tickets. Absolute disgrace! Now lost a day of bus hopping etc and ruining my holiday! Still have to deal with a complaint later. You've been warned!!

A terrible experience. I paid for 2 x 2 day passes at $80 each. When I received my vouchers via email it wouldn’t scan at the Big Bus (local parter) operators. Ended up having to buy new tickets because even calling the local partner only showed 1 ticket. Essentially a scam. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Wasted my time and money. And this is not the first time it’s happened - same issue in Dublin.

It was great, .the sightseeing tour bus was a great way to get around in the city. I really enjoyed the history of of the city that the tour gide talk about while we was on the bus. I plan a nother trip to New York soon.

Puoi visitare ciò che vuoi se hai acquistato il pacchetto. Credo però tu debba obliterare il biglietto anche se non sali sul bus perché il biglietto è a tempo

Bonjour, je me rends prochainement à New York et j’ai acheté un pass flexible avec 6 attractions. Lorsqu’on utilise le pass pour le bus hop on hop pff celui ci est valable 72h mais je n’ai pas compris s’il est valable sur tous les circuits? Peut on prendre tous les itinéraires downtown uptown brooklyn etc.. sur ces 72h? Merci pour la réponse
