We've been to NYC many times and have done almost everything there is to do - this pizza class is definitely one of our all time favorites! We had an absolute blast. We learned enough to feel completely confident to make pizzas at home. A definite bonus was receiving a booklet to take home, complete with "secret" recipes and all... More

Had an amazing experience! Fun and learned a great deal! Highly recommend to anyone who wants to learn how to make pizza that rivals NYC pizzerias.

Went here for a surprise birthday gift from my boyfriend. Had a blast! The instructor was funny and informative, gave us all the tips and walked away with all the recipes so we can make them at home. A must do with your significant other, or a group of friends!

NYC pizza? Of course it was good! But that aside, for this class Roberto and Dano were great. They have a great chemistry between them. The ingredients they used were top drawer. Dano was kind and patient with questions, and determined to make sure we left with real learning, tools & tricks to do this at home (soft bongos technique... More

My fiancé signed us up for a class here and from the very start the staff Neil and Dano were very accommodating. They taught us from start to finish how to make perfect pizzas. The class is great for anyone with or without cooking skills. We very much enjoyed the entire experience.

My boyfriend signed us up for this class because 4 years ago when we first started dating, I made him inedible pizza on 2 occasions (despite being an otherwise good cook). He decided that I was in dire need of some pizza education...and discovered Pizza à Casa. Ultimately, I'm thrilled that I did mess up on the pizza front (to... More

I will start off saying our afternoon at Casa Pizza School was entertaining, delicious, informative and delightful. We cook at our house and have made pizza before but we learned so much as we ate yummy pizza which we were able to reproduce at home with our friends and a lovely group of people from our session. Mark was terrific... More

This was the highlight of a very full, awesome 4-day trip to NYC. And it only happened because Mark and Jenny (owners) were kind enough to add a class to accommodate us. They went out of their way and I can't thank them enough! Everything was perfect from the minute we walked in the door. The space is super clean... More

Staying in Lower East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Lower East Side
Straddling the bridge between New York’s thriving immigrant past and its modern transformation into a beacon of global art and culture, the Lower East Side is one of the most dynamic neighborhoods in the city. The blocks of tenements that represented the promise and blight of the Lower East Side immigrant experience now command top dollar for new residents. Right next to old-world delis, 24-hour bodegas, and the garment shops of Orchard Street, you’ll find hip clubs, fashionable bistros, and luxury hotels beckoning at all hours of the evening. If you love nightlife and live music, it’s hard to beat the scene here.
