We took the Act I walking tour with Tim as our amazing tour guide. Our whole family loved it! The tour took us through an early history of Broadway. We learned so many interesting things! It was my daughter's favorite thing we did on the whole trip. Tim even made these phenomenal souvenir books with everything you learn in the... More

To say the tour guides are enthusiastic about taking you on this journey is an understatement. You can tell that they absolutely love the history there telling you about. Tim was our tour guide for Act I. His knowledge and love of Broadway is the apparent within the first 10 minutes of the tour. If you love Broadway I encourage... More

Last week I had the absolute pleasure of taking a Broadway Up Close Walking Tour with the CEO himself, Mr. Tim Dolan. Such an amazing tour of Broadway and the theaters of old and new. Wonderful ghost stories, incredible old photos and facts, plus some really great knowledge about current shows and the way Broadway itself works. I've lived in... More

I can not say enough about BUC! I recently took the Act III tour with my daughter. TIm was our guide. He is so knowledgeable about Broadway and he is a blast to be with. I hope that someday there will be an Act IV tour! :-) Thanks for a great time!

Owner/tour guide Tim Dolan was terrific; interesting stories and pics on his iPad of theaters including superstitions and ghost stories! Loved hearing about the day to day life of theater actors in NYC. When told that we were seeing Wicked that night, Tim shared some fascinating trivia about the play that made the production more enjoyable for us. Highly recommend... More

I went on the Act 1 tour with my almost 13 year old daughter and had an amazing time! Tour guide Tim was so knowledgable with unique stories that kept everyone interested. It was a perfect length at around 1 hour and 45 minutes with one air conditioned stop in the middle. Tim answered any question you could throw at... More

What a gem. Tim was engaging, funny and sweet. His stories and background info abt the workings of Broadway were perfect. I had no idea when I booked this tour that he founded and owned this fabulous business. Simply awesome. Good luck Tim!

Had the pleasure of taking the Act I tour today, and was astounded by the passion and knowledge Tim presented us with. Had a great rapport with him and loved hearing about his own experiences as well as the rich unknown history of broadway as it used to be. The vast knowledge and enthusiasm Tim shared made this a highlight... More

I had the absolute pleasure of taking Acts I, II and III privately with both Thom and Tim as my guides last week (7th July and 9th July 2016) and I can honestly say it was the highlight of my brief visit to New York. The passion, energy and knowledge that Tim and Thom had was wonderful - lots of... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
