The journey to and tour of Dyker Heights could not have been more enjoyable! Our guide, Fred, was so knowledgeable and hugely entertaining. He fed us so many tidbits of unusual information in addition to the very interesting history of NYC. I've been on many tours and this one was, by far, the best!

Really well done. As native New Yorkers we have never been to Dykers Heights and really enjoyed the amazing Xmas Lights... extraordinary. We learned a lot of the history of NY and enjoyed the stops very much. Our guide, Fred is knowledgeable and has a loud, clear voice. The trip was well planned, well run, easy , comfortable and we... We stopped in for thanksgiving week this year and chose Fred based on reviews we read on Trip Advisor, and we're very glad we did. Fred saved us lots of time and money, and spent the day showing us the sights we wanted to see. It's obvious that Fred is very proud of his city, and not only showed us... More

Fred is one of the best tour guides! Very informative. We decided to do the Dyker heights christmas lights in BROOKLYN. All I can say is WOW its crazy cool and my husband and I enjoyed not only the lights and neighborhood but also Fred's narrative about NYC on the ride there and back!

Took my husband to New York for his birthday. This was the first trip to Mew York for both of us. NYSee Yours came highly recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed. Our tour guide, Mr. Fred, was FABULOUS and very knowledgable about the city. Without him we would have been stuck on one of those tour buses... More

The afternoon with Fred was better than I could have expected. He was so friendly and relaxed - he really put me at ease in a city that made me very anxious. He really knows his stuff and is super flexible. Also, he knows the city so well and his tours are excellently planned. I couldn't have asked for a... More

We had the best day with Fred. If you are looking for the best tour guide in NYC, then you can stop reading. Fred is down to earth and funny and very flexible. We booked our day with him a good six months in advance. We sent him a list of what we wanted to see and he said "no... More

A personal, custom tour with Fred is a wonderful way to quickly feel comfortable wandering the great city that is NYC. Under his guidance the metropolis is no longer intimidating and even becomes a friendly and fascinating place. He gladly shares his deep knowledge and pride in the city. He tailored the tour to our interests -- Rockefeller Center, St... More

Not having much experience with big city living, we felt priviledged to have a native New Yorker give us a personal, guided tour of NYC. Fred was very accomodating to personalizing our tour to the things that interested us the most. We liked the flexibility on the sights we saw and the time of day we wanted the tour. His... More

Several years ago, my daughter booked us on a half-day NYSee Tour, hosted by Fred. It was our first time in New York and it was a great way to see many parts of the city to determine exactly where you want to spend more time later. We explored many neighborhoods, all with their own unique personality. Since that first... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
