Mr. Alfred was a great guy with great knowledge of central park secrets and history, he was very nice, friendly and funny, we had so much fun with him and learned a lot, I'd recommend him to anyone interested in visiting central park.

There is so much to see in NYC and this tour should be on everyone’s “things to do list”! It’s not your typical New York, definitely not the hustle and bustle of Times Square. Instead it’s the beauty of New York at the heart of...More

Thank you so much, Melissa. I would say that the woodpecker has become the star of the tour. I hope it sticks around. If not, I'll have to hire one. It is the star of the North Woods.

My wife and I had a great time on the tour. Fred was very knowledgeable and likeable. We had a blast! The highlight of the tour was when a woodpecker ate right out of Fred's hand. We will definitely be back at the park looking...More

Yes, like you, I've developed a love of birdwatching. This tour is a birders delight. It's a thrill to see animals in the wild. I'm working on my bird identification skills. Thanks for joining me, and taking the time to write a lovely review.

Very fun time! We saw a lot of lights and enjoyed touring the Brooklyn neighborhoods. It was a little longer than we expected and we were starving after the 4 p.m. tour. Make sure you eat before you go! They did stop by for ice...More

I took the Dyker Heights Christmas Lights tour with Fred Pflantzer and was pleasantly surprised. The comfortable ride from Manhattan seemed like it would be a long time proportional to the tour itself but on the way Mr. Pflantzer was witty and engaging and kept...More

I was fortunate enough last night to accompany Fred on his tour of the spectacular Christmas lights of Dyker Heights, Brooklyn. It allowed all of us to take photos not only of the decked-out homes, but of stops along the way in Brooklyn and Manhattan,...More
