We ordered tickets online ($25/person + $20 p/up fee + $8 tax?= $128) for the New Year's Eve 9pm show soley to have easier access to the Ball Drop area without having to wait so long out in the cold. I was told prior to purchasing the tickets by a representative that there was a great possibilty that we would have access to the area following the show, but there was no guarantee.
This turned out to be somewhat the case, as we ended up after we left the club @ 10:30 working our way to a perfect spot pass the barricades and police into the pen for viewing of the ball drop. We only had to wait 11/2 hrs in the cold until midnight. Prior to the show we arrived @ 7:00 and were able to use our tickets to gain access pass the barricade on 46 & 7th Ave along the sidewalks. We went into McDonald's for warmth, coffee and hot chocolate chip cookies until 8:30 at which time we left to go back around the corner to the comedy club show. However, understand that you must have enough nerve and persistence to get yourself into this position. It also really depends on the NYPD manning the barricades. Not everyone who had tickets to the show gained access to the pen area for a view of the ball drop. It is a chance you take when you purchase these tickests and the mandatory 2 drinks ($48 for 4 people 2-nonalcoholic drinks each...the drinks were tasty) during the show. Luckily for us it worked out, and having the passes to show the NYPD assisted us in having access before and after the show. The tickets also allowed us to go back into the club after the ball drop to use the restroom, as there weren't many restroom opportunities, before catching the subway back to our hotel.
The comedy show, however, was not so good. We were promised 5-6 comics and there were only 2, 3 counting the emcee. The show lasted 60 minutes instead of 90, but you are allowed to stay indoors as long as you like. My family and I love comedy, but we were not really laughing at these comedians' jokes, and probably would not ever go back. But for the four of us after spending $176, it was money well spent and worked out well for us.

Stumbled on this in Times Square.- there was just some guy with a sign that said "comedy show". Didn't know if it was a scam or not, but the ticket was $10 with a two drink minimum. I figured "what the Hell", because that's one of the best things about NYC, right? You go where the sidewalk takes you and end up with a great night (or a great story) .
We went to the 9:00 show and had a blast. We laughed all the way through and (unlike what another reviewer complained) weren't hassled to buy drinks. I had two beers, so that plus my ticket was $26. Well worth the money. Our show included Chris Clarke, Marvin Bell, Craig Fox and Kenny Ortega, and was about 90 minutes long. There were a couple of hecklers and I felt bad for the comedians, but they took it all in stride and handled it like pros. I'd definitely go back.

We bought tickets on the street in Times Square for $10 each to this club. Part of the attraction was that my 2 17YO kids would be able to go. The place was certainly nothing fancy, but it featured 4 good comedians.

Do not believe anyone who tells you to go to this club! This club is a scam! Terrible comics, worse staff and rediculously priced drinks ( staff also hassle you with a two drink minimum rule at around $10 for a bottle of beer/water)

We got a Living Social deal for the dueling pianos to get us in for $20 instead of the normal $30 and that was still too much for this horrible experience. There was a 2 drink minimum so even if you got 2 bottled waters you were paying an additional $15, which included the automatic gratuity and tax, by the time you left. One of the pianos players was very talented but the other one was so bad he completely overshadowed his counterpart. He would be halfway through a song before I would recognize what he was singing unless the other player was singing, too. He was soooooooooo off-key it was ridiculous. On the way back to catch our train we heard some guy singing in the subway and we all agreed he was 100 times better than what we had just paid to hear. You had to pay these guys to sing and/or pay them to stop singing. A couple of times, people did pay the the off-key guy to stop singing for which I was very grateful. We decided to leave early to beat the rush out the door but our waitress was no where to be found. It took us a half hour to get our bill so we could finally leave. I suppose if you showed up drunk and then continued to drink, you might find this place somewhat entertaining but if you're sober and stay that way throughout the performance, fuhgeddaboudit. Too bad TripAdvisor doesn't allow minus ratings because this is one venue well deserving of that rating.

this was the worst travel experience ever. they have people all along times square hassling you about comedy show tickets. we didn't believe the guy, so we walked over to the club ourselves. they kept saying how it was a discounted half price: only 10 per person and 2 drink requirement. ok, that's reasonable. we've been to comedy cellar and carolines and improv, that's normal. we go down this disgusting hall, into a dark room that has 4 people in it. no lie. we were like, oh no. during the time there, 4 more people came in, 4 sets of people left, mid-joke mind you. we were so embarrassed, and wanted to be polite, we just sat there trying not to hurt their feelings. then 2 kids tried to sneak in and left because they were carted which was totally pointed out. there were 4 comedians who were there, each for about 15 horrible, painful minutes. i kept looking at my husband like, is this real? they almost said some of the same jokes. all of them made fun of the fact that we were crappy tourists and lame and had no better plans than to sit there and listen to them. one or two said how horrible it was, the microphone and ac kept cutting out and they'd yell for someone to come fix the electrical circuits. i couldn't make this up. (the waitress was so nice, i felt horrible for her). run as fast as you can from this kind of stuff. ny has so much more to offer!

Got ripped off by a guy named Jamal selling tickets. Lied about the line- up and the 2 drink minimum. I explained the situation that same day to the guy at the door named Gregory. The issue was not reported to the manager. I spoke to the manager - Francisco - two days later, and asked for a refund. He told me that he would "take care of me" next time I was in New York. Uh, no thanks. He refused to give me a refund ($20 by the way) because I gave my money to someone who is an "independent contractor." He said that it would be a terrible business decision to do that? The tickets have the name of your club on it - you know you're working with. If you don't, you need to start.

We were staying in a hotel in Times Square for a week. Every night walking to the hotel we were approached by a man trying to give us a "free comedy" show. We ignored him up until our last night when we ran out of things to do. He took us down the road to the club. It was free however we were only required to spend at least $20 on drinks which was not a problem. We sat in the bar before the show and spent our $20 then were taken into the comedy show room. There was a waitress to bring more drinks and the comedians were the funniest I have ever seen. I wish that we did this every single night we were there. It was a blast. Going back next month.

Love a good laugh, but this time the laugh was on me. Please believe ALL negative comments posted. They are accurate. Wish I had time to stand next to these guys on Times Square to warn all the unsuspecting tourists. As far as my rating....wish I could give a minus rating.

For some reason we decided to check out Ha! on Manhattan, and boy do we regret this. Only 6 people including us in a huge room with lousy comedians (I know it's hard to work a room with so few people, but these guys were terrible) and a very, very annoying waitress constantly interrupting the bad show trying to get us to buy more. Stay away.
