Really enjoyed this reasonably priced tour of Central Park. ($15) The Tour was about 1.5 hours and taught about the history of the development of the park and the area in general. Saw many beautiful architectural details. Merle and Pat were great guides.

We rent bikes from them. It was my first time seeing the city on a bike, really nice experience. They provide everything you need from maps to helmets and locks.

If you don't want to bike and still see a big part of Central Park , you should consider a pedicab tour. It is definitely one of the best ways to explore the park
