We booked the 2 hour tour circumnavigating Manhattan for a fine if cold day and loved it! We were cosy by the generous windows of the small but roomy boat and fascinated by the informative entertaining explanations of the areas we cruised by. The tour included a wine and snacks, getting close to Statue of Liberty and lots of history as well as contemporary issues facing New York City. It is possible to sit atop the boat and hear the commentary but it was too comfortable and easy to see from downstairs.

Our first New Year’s Eve in the Big Apple, and we didn’t want to brave Times Square, so I found the Classic Harbor Line cruise online. Because we wanted live music, we selected the Manhattan II yacht, which had live jazz. It was a little pricey, but worth every cent. They had a sommelier on board who took us through four tastings of different sparkling wines, all of which were very good. We left the dock at 9:15 pm and got to cruise down the Hudson and up the East River; the view of Manhattan at night was awesome. The accommodations were fairly small, which was good because we weren’t crushed by a group of people, but comfortable, below decks, so we didn’t freeze to death outside. They had various hors d’ oeuvres, some of which were spectacular. Jazz quartet was superb with a small dance floor. Finally, the crew was extremely accommodating and very friendly. We anchored off the Statue of Liberty near midnight to see the fireworks display. Although we had to go out on deck to watch, and it was damned cold, the view of the fireworks was incredible.
The best New Year’s Eve my wife and I ever have ever had. Highly recommended.

Went on the Manhattan Bridge tour which is the same route of the Architectural tour completely around Manhattan Island. I am from NY & live out of state yet whenever I am in town I “always” go on one of there great trips & the bridge tour is my favorite. The types, ages & beauty of bridges in NYC is incredible plus the guide was great as all their other tours I have been on. Even if your not that interested in bridge & building architecture just the scenery is enough to take this trip. No other tour boats take you completely around Manhattan & the crew are always great as is the service. Yes it costs more then the others yet it’s worth every penny of cruising the waterways on NYC in a beautiful, clean, uncrowded stately yacht where other tours don’t go & you can get lost in the beauty that is NYC. By the way as with most tours please tip those that work hard to give you an enjoyable day you won’t forget. I just saw they are now operating in Boston & will be taking that cruise soon.

We were really excited to book the sunset cruise for the last night of our NYC trip - however, when we went to check in the ticket agent informed us that our booking had been cancelled earlier that day, and that there was now no longer any space on the excursion. We hadn’t received any head’s up - and had even received a reminder email the day before. They issued us a refund, but it was still a huge bummer and staff wasn’t very apologetic or forthcoming with an explanation of why it was cancelled. So - just a warning to anyone planning their vacation around this.

Not many things in this city are actually worth the prices asked. I can unequivocally state that these tours are with every penny and more. The service, staff and ambience are all first class all the way. Thanks for a wonderful experience, I highly recommend Classic Harbor Line to anyone seeking a memorable NYC experience. Note: I live here, and I'm already thinking about my next trip.

OMG! I cant believe we spent $300 at this, so worthless. Christmas carols were promised, but only 2 songs were played, then it was extended jazz which was probably more appreciated by the band than the paying custumers. None christmas spirit feeling and the drinks were server in paper cups, even though we paid $150 each for the trip, I don't understand why it cost so much. Worst money spent ever. Do NOT recommend this trip. Please spend you money at something else.

We had the best time aboard the Manhatten II for a fall foliage brunch cruise. The weather was less than awesome but we really didn't even notice. The scenery was beautiful and that boat 😍😍. Truly an amazing vessel. The crew was awesome. I really couldn't hear/understand the captain but that wasn't a big deal since it wasn't a cruise that relied on a guide.
The food was really delicious and there was SO much of it. I didn't really expect to rave about the food for a tour like this. We really felt pampered and loved that it wasn't very "peopl-ey." We also loved the assigned seating as every table was a great one and it just made things more orderly.
Highly recommend this tour....will be looking to go out with them again when we return to the city

We had a beautiful sunset sail on the Adirondack. The boat is wonderful, clean with plenty of seats for all. The crew was great, very attentive and accommodating while still doing all the work moving the sails.
The first round of drinks were on the house and more was available
for purchase upon request.
The boat brought us very close to the Statue of Liberty and everyone had the opportunity to take photos.
We will be returning with friends for our next sail.

I had a gift certificate and to be honest, I didn't expect it to be as good as it was. We took the Architectural tour and the guide spoke for 2 + hours without skipping a beat. He kept it informative, interesting and added a little humor as well. The service was very good and the appetizer plates as well as the drinks were worth it.

Fabulous tour on a cold crisp morning. Doug - the AIANY - educator was fabulous and spoke for nearly 3 hrs; answered loads of questions about the architecture and history of the skyscrape and area. He really brought the tour to life. Seeing the Manhattan skyline from this perspective was fabulous. So relaxing. The boat is beautiful and the captain and crew were really professional and all the team had a lovely warm aura about them.

Harbor lights night time cruise on the small wooden boat had bench like seating on each side in the interior and the center was open with space to walk around to the bar or to go to the table where snacks were laid out and was the area where the narrator
stood to deliver his commentary. You are able to get up and go to the outside deck as desired. On the larger wooden boat for the daytime architectural cruise there are tables lined up on each side of the interior deck. We were able to have a table to ourselves but I think it depends on the number of people signed up as to whether you have to share a table.

None of the boats I saw were wheel chair accessible, but they may be able to work something out. They were quite accommodating so definitely give them a call.
