I went on the “NYC TV & Movie Tour” and the “Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Tour” both of which take place in large tour busses. On the “NYC TV & Movie Tour”, it was fun to watch clips of a variety of tv & film scenes set in NYC and then see them in real life! It was a bit pricey but definitely worth it as you travel through a good amount of Manhattan & it teaches you where you want to re-visit! I live in NYC and even I discovered some new areas. The two highlights of the tour were visiting the Friends apartment & The Ghost Busters Fire Station. The 3 hour tour goes by quickly!

I also went on the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Tour because I’m a big fan of the show. Personally, I would not recommend it to others given the price and what you receive. We drove around a small radius of Manhattan and many of the locations were just used as exteriors (e.g. the awning of a building) so you really have to use your imagination. The ones that weren't you could easily have looked them up on your phone and visited them yourself such as La Bonbonnierre or Music Inn. Two of the main stops on the tour were also bars. We were given 10 minutes in each bar which wasn’t enough time to sit down and enjoy a drink so most just chugged their drinks & left. It also wasn’t a fun stop for non-drinkers because the novelty of standing in bar can only be appreciated for so long. Although the tour could use some tweaks, there were some good aspects. For example, the tour around Washington Square Park was interesting, I loved yelling “we got the rabbi” outside of the deli, and I enjoyed hearing behind the scenes secrets of the show.

I recently did the new Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Tour of NYC via On Location Tours. It was a lot of fun! Our tour guide was Allie, and she was terrific from her 1958 attire to her great attitude. We had a small group of 9, so we were able to ask a lot of questions and spend time inside each of the destinations on the tour. You're on the bus about 2 hours with about 30 minutes of walking, so it is appropriate for anyone who can get on and off a bus. Before we saw each destination, we watched a clip from the show of that location, which helped remind me of the place in the show. Allie was very knowledgable about that era and the show details. I would advise that the write-up is a bit misleading, as it says you'll have time for a coffee and drink during the tour but the stops are pretty quick so be ready to chug that beer and get your coffee to go!

On Location Tours is literally the best tour service in NYC. I went on the new Marvelous Mrs. Maisel tour and it wasn’t only a great way to see parts of the city I’ve never seen before, but I got to relive scenes from the show in person, and learned behind the scenes information that I wouldn’t have known otherwise. Not to mention the stories and history behind the actual locations. Also, can’t ask for a better team than the one at On Location Tours. Erin and Lauren are incredible and made it such a fun and immersive tour. They also went above and beyond to help me figure out my way around the area. So friendly and amazing, as was the group I got to take the tour with. I can’t say enough good things about this experience. I can’t wait to come back and do another tour!

I scheduled a Private Mrs. Maisel tour in the car from the show 4 weeks in advance for a birthday celebration for my daughter. I was contacted 5 days prior to my tour and played phone tag for 2 more days only to be offered a tour in another car due to the expense of the show car rental and lack of any other bookings on the same day as mine. They then offered to do the tour in another car and a day later told me they did not have a driver. Very disappointing. While I understand COVID has reeked havoc on NYC businesses, would have appreciated a little more advanced notice to have time to make other plans.

I suggest that you contact the company directly to book a Mrs Maisel tour. I don't think they are going to offer the private tour much longer and are still advertising it on their site.

If you are a fan of the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, this tour is a must! Our tour guide, Mrs. Stephanie, was incredible! She was not only knowledgeable about so many facts and details from the show, but she was very entertaining! It was a lot of fun visiting different locations from the show and we loved being able to stop, take pictures, and grab drinks/snacks at some of the businesses where Midge, Susie, Joel, and other characters have been known to frequent. Do yourself a favor and take one or more of the tours offered by On Location Tours. You definitely will not be disappointed!

Our on location movies and tv shows tour was a lot of fun. Our Tour guide Chris was very knowledgeable and engaging. The air-conditioned bus in the heat of the summer was also a great escape. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting NYC.

Our tour guide Melissa Stokoski was absolutely hilarious and made the tour such a wonderful experience. She is a can't miss NYC icon herself. The tour itself was also very interesting, and Melissa did a great job of combining fun facts about filming in NYC with personal jokes and celebrity anecdotes. I am a native New Yorker and enjoyed the tour as much as my friends visiting from around the world. Men in our group who had never seen the show had a great time. Definitely go when Melissa is working!

Our fabulous guide, Stephanie Windland, transported us back in time into Midge Maisel’s world on this amazing tour. Stephanie shared a wealth of fascinating information about the show and the locations which we toured all over Manhattan on a very comfortable bus.
We had a great time. Definitely worth it!

This was one of the must do’s for my teenage daughter on our trip to NY. I hadn’t seen the show but was keen to go and see the excitement on my daughters face. Plus was a good opportunity to see more of NY.

The tour guide Maddie was friendly and informative and we got to see a snapshot of New York such as Grand central station, The Met (where Blair was queen of the famous meeting spot on the stairs), Dylan’s candy bar,
and other familiar locations seem on the show.

My daughter said it was the highlight of her trip to New York and once I returned from our travels started binge watching gossip girl and loved seeing places I had been too. Great mother and daughter experience.

The tour was nice as you got to see most of mid town Manhattan at Christmastime without trying to walk it. The traffic was crazy. The tour guide was insightful, though me being a geek would have like more information. We went right after Christmas.
