If you attend one of the church's choral events, you will be in for a real treat! The Choir of Men and Boys is one of the best in the US.

The architecture is noteworthy. We stopped in during "Eveningsong" and were wowed by the beautiful male choir and the magnificant setting of this classic cathedral.

This church is almost 200 years' old !!! yet standing as strong as ever. Located on the main 5th Avenue in the midst of concrete towers it is an amazingly beautiful church with intricate carving & beautifully done stained windows.

This church is made of real solid stones. The acoustics are incredible. They have a boy Choir parallel to the one in Westminster Abbey in London, and in fact the St. Thomas Boy Choir has been invited to sing in London. You must try and cat them sing. The voices are angelic.

Come here to seek piece and quiet from the crazy NYC streets. The church is spectacular and offers solitude from the crowds.

We didn't go inside St. Thomas' Church, we stumbled across it leaving The Rockerfella Centre, however, to see this beautiful church with stunning architecture amongst all the sky rise buildings was a delight to see. I can only imagine what it would look like at night, lit up

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
