Have been wanting to do this for years and a couple weeks ago I booked for my birthday with my husband. What a blast! Actors were phenomenal and the group we were paired up with were really cool. Definitely recommend.... surprising, funny, immersive and unexpected.

Our group mates were not doing a great job of sharing in the experience and would jump in front and guess clues before people had a chance to read them or hear them. You pay to see the puzzles and exprience the acting which was...More

My kids always hated going to NYC to see the usual sites, but this trip was different. They really enjoyed Accomplice (we did the Village show). Made for a great day. I especially enjoyed getting to know a part of the city I otherwise wouldn't...More

I first attended AGV in 2008 and felt it was better. The beginning of the script has changed a bit but much preferred the one in 2008 better. I also thought the actors were stronger in 2008. perhaps its because the show has run for...More

It got off to a shaky start by not beginning on time and not delivering the specific signal we were told would identify our contact. After that, things picked up. It was enjoyable but not challenging. Good for a nice walk around the Village and...More

Check the website. It's a great value for the money without a discount. Dinner and drinks were included with the late afternoon session.

Elaine - We've thought about adding extra clues but decided against it as it's supposed to feel like you are in a singular mission. Thanks for your thoughts on this though. That was really bad luck that you ended up with... More

In the downtown version you visit an x-rated bar, so no. Not much to interest kids in the storyline either. It also takes at least 3 hours, most of it pounding the pavement, so could be exhausting for children.

Things I learnt - Trip Report 2 - 11 September 2009 (28 Replies)
I've been so extremely lazy about writing a trip report and because I left this so late, I decided to post it as little dot points instead of a day by day thing. Just some background: I traveled with my cousin and a friend. We are three 24/25 year old females who traveled to the US for the first time. I have family in Staten Island and New Jersey that I hadn’t seen before in my life but got to know during our 9 nights in New York/New Jersey. We were in New York from 2 September – 11...More

Great unique fun to do in New York City (5 Replies)
If you're in New York or coming to visit then you MUST see "Accomplice: New York" or "Accomplice: The Village". These are both walking tour, scavenger hunt, interactive theater shows that are just a TOTAL BLAST! My husband and I (age 40) did the original Accomplice New York with another couple and enjoyed ourselves immensely. We all grew up in the New York area but still found it fascinating to see the various sites of downtown New York and go places we'd never been before. The...More
