Just do it! If you have limited days in NYC, this is the best way to maximize your coverage area!! If you have bike anxiety - push it aside. I did! AND - I am so glad that I did. We covered so many boroughs and bridges that if we didn’t do it on an eBike there is no way we would have conquered so much area in such a small amount of time. Don’t hesitate, you won’t regret it. Rick, the owner - being a NY native, he knows the layout of NYC and will keep you safe and guide you throughout the madness calmly. Any uneasiness will diminish as he leads the way pointing out any areas of concern all while keeping on subject so you don’t miss a beat. He provides many fun facts that you can’t find online, any inside “local” scoop and most importantly - how to be a New Yorker – beep, beep, beep! HONK that horn, haha ;)
We highly recommend Rick and his company, NYC Adventure eBike Tours! From the moment we met Rick, we knew we were in good hands. You’d never guess that we’d just met. He treats you like family and will give you the shirt off his back….or rather a jacket (because your son forgot his). Thanks Rick!! We’ll be back Sept ‘25, see you then!!

We have just returned from New York and would highly recommend this tour. Rick is an absolute gentleman who has an amazing wealth of knowledge and clearly loves his home city. We got to see parts of New York that i never seen despite visiting the city over 10 times in the past. The electric bikes are super comfortable and make navigating the city and the bridges very easy. The blue tooth helmets meant we could learn many interesting facts as we passed through the different areas of the city without having to continuously stop.
We cannot recommend this tour highly enough !!!

The Iconic 5 Bridges bike tour was great. We have been coming to
NYC for years, but learned more in this tour about the city and saw the city from such interesting perspectives as we travelled across 5 Bridges.
My wife and I are in our early 70’s, but the e-bikes made this 3 hour tour easy and safe.
Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about NYC and made the ride very doable.
Highly recommended!
Bike seats were a little hard, though.
Thanks

I booked this tour knowing that I would enjoy it, but a little worried that it might be a little too much for my wife. I'm very accustomed to cycling in busy city traffic, and while my wife isn't unfamiliar with cycling, her experience is far more rural and infrequent.
Before we even left the store, Rick put her at ease, and took the time to ensure she was familiar with the bike and how the ride was going to go. No matter where the route took us, we were able to relax, and enjoy the ride and tour. Additionally, very little of the five bridges route was spent in busy midtown streets - much of the route was actually on protected bike lanes with very little competing bike traffic.
Rick is clearly very knowledgeable about the city, and passionate about giving tours and sharing his life experiences and travels. The tour really gave us a diverse and broad perspective over NYC, covering three boroughs, something like over a dozen neighborhoods, all while communicating with each other with those awesome wireless helmets! Riding over the iconic bridges was obviously a highlight, and since these were all in protected lanes, I didn't have to worry about cars etc - I could just take in the sights.
Our package included photos, which turned out great, and Rick got these to us within 24 hours. Some were stationary, but others were action shots Rick skillfully took during the ride.
Rick was also kind enough to reach out in advance to reschedule to a day which not only worked out better logistically for us, but had much better weather.
It was a great tour, well worth the time and money.

We did a really fun tour of the 5 bridges when unfortunately it was just too cold to the Dyker Heights Christmas tour (-10degC) the following days. The bikes were in good condition and gave a really useful extra helping hand (or in my case just use the throttle with no pedalling!).
Rick was fun and informative, and we really liked the views from the terrace after the tour (so much so we went twice).
Would really recommend the 5 bridges tour as a way of seeing areas most tourists don't get to see....

We had the most amazing time on this e-bike tour. We selected the 5 bridge tour with the extra 1-hour Brooklyn Bridge Park. First off we did our tour on 8/1/22 and as of today we are still talking about this tour. We covered so much ground and our knowledge of NYC is so extensive now. Rick (the owner) is the nicest and best NYC tour guide we've ever had. Second, each person will have bluetooth helmets so you can hear your guide and talk to other family members who might be ahead or behind you. Third, you have the option of using pedal assist or simply using the battery up and throttle through this tour. Our guide carried extra batteries and will gladly swap our your battery if it ever runs los. Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting NYC.

Rick the guide is FABULOUS: My son and I took a private (the way to go) ride on the Iconic Bridges Tour...Rick is extremely informative and go to great lengths for his customers to ensure a fantastic experience. Born and raised in NYC, Rick knows and shows every nook and cranny of the city. His helmet audio system allows for constant communication between he and riders and riders and each other--makes for great conversation. He also uses the audio system to point out even obscure landmarks and for safety tips along the way. His attention to detail calls out broken glass on path, makes riders aware of cars, bikers and pedestrians in crowded areas. A great leader; no need for rides to worry about where to go or how to get there.
Rick is an interesting guy and shares his life's journey of travel around the world as well as his in-depth knowledge of New York City.
The Bridges tour was truly a fun route exposing us to Brooklyn and Queens as well as Manhattan; crisscrossing the East river a few times.
The next day I took the full Manhattan sightseeing and photo tour..WOW. have spent a lot of time in the city over the years but this provided up close and personal views of all of the great things The Big Apple has to offer. We also traversed Harlem and the Bronx (an add on). This was just Rick and me and it was a whirlwind of activity, sights and eats.
His constant offers to take pictures make for a nice photo album which he emails to you at the end of the trip. Darn, the guy takes great pix too.
I look forward to his Coney Island ride next time I am back...

My wife and I had a fantastic morning on Rick's tour. There is nothing that Rick does not know about NYC. He took us to all the places you have heard and read about, and all the little spots that only a local can find you. We even went to NYC's new beach the very week it opened. There is no other way to see so much of NYC as we did with Rick. We were apprehensive at first about riding E Bikes in NYC being so busy. But Rick knows where to go to get on the dedicated bike lanes and is very good at making sure everyone is safe. Book this for sure, you won't regret it

My wife and I did the Iconic Bridges tour. We've been to NYC many times and seen most of the usual sites, but nothing like this. We covered 25 miles starting from his storefront in the upper West Side, through part of Central Park and then criss-crossing the East River on 5 different bridges. Rick is a tremendous guide who knows the city incredibly well and is committed to making sure you have a great (and very safe) experience - his bluetooth helmets are pretty cool and enabled us to talk to each other for the whole ride. Two major thumbs up.

My family and I took an eBike tour around the city. It was the highlight of our trip. Riding around the city on these cool eBikes was so much fun and a great way to see everything. After seeing all the iconic spots around the city, we rode back uptown on a bike highway along the Hudson River. So beautiful. I really liked that part of the ride. Our tour was private and all to ourselves. The guide was really nice and knows the city well as hes lived there his entire life. He also took pictures of us along the route and uploaded them to us after the tour. It was like having our own professional photographer. He even tracked the route we did that Im sharing with you to see the experience we had. The bikes are amazing and really easy to operate. Most of the tour we rode in protected bike lanes or bike highways, so we felt safe the entire time. I cant recommend doing this tour enough. The company we hired was NYC Adventure eBikes. The tour we booked was the Sightseeing Photo Tour, but we want to do the Bridges Tour next time, Thats looks amazing

Bicycles are totally illegal in New York City. They can not be operated within the city under any circumstances. Not on the street (that includes within the motorcycle lanes) and not on the sidewalk. Operation of a bicycle or any type of non-motorized vehicle within New York City is a felony that carries a sentence of up to 5 years on Rikers Island. There are cities and metro areas in the nation where non-motorized bikes are legal.

I assume you mean "E-bikes" but you are wrong. E-bikes are allowed (city even rents them (city bikes) and are allowed on all greenways and bike paths. Ordinance against ebikes on such paths are not enforced and these bikes are everwhere.
