Both bus driver Vinnie and guide Rick were super informative and friendly. Definitely a highlight of a week of NYC touring. Lots of great food and explanation of changing brooklyn history and neighborhoods. my only suggestion would be to park the bus a little farther from each stop so folks could walk more in the neighborhoods and absorb them.

We went May 23rd 2016 11AM tour. I believe Rick was the guide. Sorry I forget names...he was amazing, fun and told great stories. We ate at places I never would have entered. From the polish place to the pizza place, I could not believe how much food we ate. Variety is an understatement. I would recommend this tour.

We had a great time on the tour. Our tour guide Lori was very friendly and knowledgeable. She took the time to visit with everyone on the tour, and remembered all of our names which I thought was impressive. It was on one of the hottest days of the summer (July 22/16) and we were very happy that it was... More

Granted the tour states you will be taken to the different Brooklyn neighborhoods by transport (mid size van), but I didn't realize it would be such a drive by tour. You do get a sense of how big Brooklyn is and the different groups that make up this area, but you do not feel a part of it. Stops were... More

Once tried, forever smitten. Touring New York in a classic convertible on the 4th July doesn't get any better than this. We had a wonderful day in hardly any traffic with our wonderful and informative guide Isaac. The car is soooo confortable and stunning. I'm not sure if we took more photos than the admiring onlookers. I think this tour... More

Was interested to try this tour, as have done many other tours in the city. Because we had a small group, we had a mini-van not a bus. The food tour of Brooklyn was long from 11am to 4pm. I feel for the price you can do other Brooklyn tours just as good or better. I also like the idea... More

Small tour of about 15 folks via bus and walking. Starts out in Greenwich Village (with stop at Russ & Daughters for pastry) and moves to Williamsburg, Greenpoint, DUMBO, Sunset Park, etc. Stops for snacks (included), new pizza, polish meal, Cuban sandwich, Italian pastry, chocolate, etc. Though a Brooklyn native, I haven't been there since the Seventies. Our tour guide... More

This tour was fantastic and better than I imagined. We had Lori who was so personable and didn't have to make jokes to engage with people. We drove around in a very comfortable small bus and made stops at some amazing food places. Polish, Cucan, Italian (pizza) and dessert (times 2). The history whilst driving around was great and it... Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
