This bridge can be seen amazingly from the Freedom tower, no wonder we kept taking so many pictures benefiting out of the beautiful light that came after a very cloudy day. Iconic, just like the nearby Brooklyn bridge, this is another amazing piece of engineering,...More

Made a last minute decision to walk across the Manhattan Bridge instead of the Brooklyn Bridge so that I would have wide views of the latter. That worked but maybe crossing the Brooklyn Bridge would be better for close up views of the supports and...More

Not as attractive in my view as the Brooklyn and the Willamsburg bridges the Manhattan offers a far less crowded option to the Brooklyn Bridge. You get good views but be prepared for the subway trains to make a real racket from the bridge being...More

Definitely not my favorite bridge in NYC as far as architectural design goes. There are good views of midtown though, and not as crowded as the Brooklyn Bridge.

Having walked the Brooklyn Bridge and wondered around the disappointing Dumbo shopping district, went went back to Manhattan via this train bridge. Not as spectacular or ore inspiring as it’s neighbouring bridge, but far less crowded, so quicker.

Not a lot of people take the time to walk across Manhattan Bridge, choosing the more picturesque Brooklyn bridge as their subject, but try this on for size: Cross from Chinatown to Dumbo on Manhattan, then return on Brooklyn, making a (long) circle route onto...More

This bridge is a workhorse, an important link between 2 huge bustling boroughs. Down below in Brooklyn is a small cool neighborhood.

This is another beautiful suspension bridge that spans the East River. It connects Lower Manhattan with Downtown Brooklyn and you're able to walk it for some Great photo ops and its nowhere near as crowded as the Brooklyn Bridge. It's design is such a contrast...More
