Neighborhood: Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighborhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.

Flagship Samsung Store that offers repairs and a view into the world of Samsung.
There are only two Samsung stores in the Tri-State area, one in the Bergen Mall Outlets and this one.
Only at this two stores you can get your phone repaired.
At this location being the biggest one you can find the latest phones displayed, VR Experiences, gaming experiences, they always have a live DJ.
Staff is pretty friendly and helpful, I visited to repair my S8+ and they explained what the issue was, it took like two weeks but since they couldn't fix my phone they decided to give a brand new Note 8.
Overall is a nice place to visit even if you're not repairing your phone and are a Samsung fan or just curious.

Unfortunately the 'house' full of Samsung tech wasn't open when we visited but there is plenty of other kit to look at and test out. Would have given 4 stars if the room had been open. My 2 teenaged boys loved it. Coffee shop on site with some nice options like lavender hot chocolate...

My phone started with a black line in the middle of the screen. Later, it extended to cover almost the entire screen. After a long explanation with Samsung's online service, which recommended visiting Samsung 837 , The technician there, after discussing with his supervisor, came to tell me that Samsung Care would cost $350 to fix the screen, even though it's a manufacturing problem and Samsung is already being sued for it. Since my phone is still under warranty, he recommended shipping it to the Texas repair service because the equipment at Samsung 837 is too expensive. What a load of nonsense. The people there aren't willing to help unless you buy Samsung Care service.

I brought my phone in to the Samsung 837 after work on May 17th after making an appointment for service. I still had to wait an hour for a "tech" to inform me that my phone restarting whenever it gets exposed to water and shutting off randomly would be resolved after rewriting the software. The problem is that the last "tech" did the same thing and these problems persisted. I asked to speak to a manager (Wakar? Sorry if I butchered it) and was told that my phone would be repaired, the screen would also be replaced as an apology for the inconvenience and it would be available the next day when the store opened at 11 AM. I requested a late shift at work, went to the store at 11 AM and was told that the phone wasn't ready, it would be ready in 15 minutes. 1 hour and 15 minutes later a Samsung 837 employee brought my phone back and nothing had been done. I asked to speak to another manager, I made the mistake of not getting this individual's name but he promised the same thing, the phone would be repaired and screen replaced for the inconvenience. They would also overnight the phone to me so I could expect it May 19th or the latest May 21st. Today is May 21st, where is my phone? Samsung can't tell me, and I think I have better odds of winning the lottery than getting someone at this store to answer the phone. As much as I dislike Apple devices, if I hand Apple $1000 for a phone it works longer than 6 months.
If this store is representative of how Samsung does customer service I'm done with Samsung from now on.

We had an issue with our Galaxy Note 4: it kept shutting down and rebooting on its own. We climbed our way up to the support station, were the cool hi-tech representative, without even taking a look at our device, pronounce his Cassandra verdict: motherboard!....we trembled, and he confirmed, it was a death sentence. After a couple of weeks, the device stopped booting at all. Almost on our way to the closest Verizon store, I spend 15 minutes researching the topic online, other 20 or so doing a factory reset and..... the phone is back to work like a clockwork. I am not sure if the cool hi-tech guy was unbelievably incompetent, extraordinarily lazy, just there to sell you stuff you do not need or a combination of all of the above, but take a modest advice: before trusting these guys, do your homework.

Not too crowded. Got a tour of the Samsung house and all of the features they are bringing together. Photo experience was a waste of time, but seeing the new devices and trying the VR was great. People were very nice. We did not go, but they were organizing a walking tour to take pictures while we were there.

Samsung 837 to me is more about the architectural structure as opposed to what’s inside it. Good view from the high line.

Do you need to have your own samsung phone to try virtual reality here? Do you need an Appt? Is it a long wait on a saturday afternoon? What is the youngest age that can try it if they have a parental waiver? Thank you!
Written March 6, 2019
No you don’t need a Samsung phone for anything. No you don’t need and appt. Call about the age, but some things you have to be 14 or 15 with a waiver. I’m not sure about the Saturday question, but it’s likely to have some lines on some of the things on a Saturday.
