The driver called us in advance to let us know where he was and coordinate meeting. We had booked the 20 min short ride and the driver confirmed this when we got in. The carriage was clean and the driver took us around and pointed out some main attractions in the park.
When we got out, we realised we had only been in the carriage about 10 mins. Should we have paid attention to the time and told the driver so he could do the full 20 mins? Maybe. Overall I walked away feeling ripped off. I emailed the company to let them know about our experience but unfortunately no response.

Very disorganized group of carriages from several companies at the entrance. several calls went straight to voice mail. Finally got a call from Sarah (our driver) apologizing for running late. From the moment she arrived onward the experience was everything we had hoped for. She politely asked if we wanted a quiet ride or narration, and when we said tell us all you can, she gave a very nice narrative as we rode around the park. She took pictures of us in the carriage and even stopped for a few minutes at John Lennon's memorial to allow us to go view it. Of course the price is high, it's a tourist thing, but it was on my wife's bucket list and Sarah made it a wonderful experience.

In our first trip to New York City we thought a carriage ride in Central Park was a must. We decided to walk it from our on hotel on W.35th street. I'm not so sure that we a wise decision. It was a very long walk, but being said when we got to the entrance we did see lots of carriages picking up people and dropping them off, but let me say this there was no organization whatever to this mess. No lines, nobody to tell you prices or how to get the carriage driver's attention and some were for 20 minutes at $58 or 1 hour @ $150 I think. A carriage would pull up listing both prices but then he would say, 1 hour only rides, huh? We finally had to get a little aggressive and tell some folks that WE are next! Because we had 5 in our group we had to get 2 carriages which was fine. Ours was very pretty and our girl was very nice. She gave us info about some spots in the park but honestly we only saw a fraction of it and it wasn't anything special. I did appreciate the girl taking me and my friends picture. I took her's too. If this is your must do, I guess go ahead and take the ride, but just know what to expect.

I would recommend booking with a different company.I booked a Central Park and city tour in the evening to look at the lights and displays. Our driver called me 45 minutes before our ride and asked if we could come early. We were able to, so he told us to meet him at the location 20 minutes before our scheduled tour. We showed up at the location and he was not there. He did not show up till our scheduled ride. So we stood in the cold for 20 minutes for no reason. Then we had our carriage ride. The ride was lovely but he kept speeding up and passing the other carriages. We arrived back to the return location after 30 minutes. We paid for an hour ride and when he questioned the driver he said the traffic was not bad so we got done early so our ride was done. We feel we got ripped off, I have tried contacting the company but have not heard anything back.

Seriously overpriced. You can get carriage rides around Central Park for like $20 of you just show up. Carriages are lined up waiting. Big scam. Paid $280 and driver was pissed I didn’t tip. I said if you can make the carriage ride $20 I can tip you $50. He declined. SCAM.

Avoid this company at all costs. I booked a 45 minute carriage ride for November 26th back in May the cost was $125 , this week they sent me a email cancelling my carriage ride with no explanation. I went online to see maybe if they were not doing them or why they might have canceled and noticed that I could book the same time as they canceled on us but the price was now $245. I believe that is why they canceled so they could make double the money off someone else. I do not recommend this company at all seem like shysters to me.

My family had reserved a carriage ride for 1:30pm on Saturday, December 4, but when we arrived, we were told that there would be at least a 90 minute wait. There were people around us who said that they had a noon reservation but had yet to get a carriage. The scene was chaotic, without any signage or organization. Fortunately, we were able to snag a carriage at the Grand Army Plaza, next to the Plaza Hotel.

As another reviewer noted, I feel as though I was ripped off/scammed as well. Booked a 60min holiday lights tour online. Everything started great but we only went around the park, saw no lights, and were done after 30mins. Unfortunately, my phone died during the tour, so I couldn't pull up my reservation to confirm what I had booked. Sure enough, upon returning to the hotel and double checking, we were supposed to have 60mins and venture out of the park to see holiday lights. Of course, I've tried to contact the company multiple times with no response. My advice: avoid at all costs.

Ok so it’s not cheap, cost us $140 for 40 mins but our guide was good. He could have been telling us anything I suppose but he was very convincing and quite charming. Drove us all round the park and stopped for photo shot. The weather was cold but lovely blue sky, we were well rugged up! We did ask after the welfare of our horse Bernard and was given all the details on allowed working hours and days and also holidays. He looked very fit and well looked after

If you are going to use these guys start your own timer on your phone to their face and pay according to your time. Was quoted for 60 mins. At most 20 mins. Demanding full money. Ripped off by a smiling charaltan. Destroyed my faith in New Yorkers. Trust no one, tip no one. Ruined a full day of my holiday. Went to St. Patricks to pray for Karma.

You can just also do a walk up, basically reserving online would guarantee the availability and allow you to customize your carriage ride also you can just skip the line during holidays season. Please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions.
