I have never been to a NY play where everyone stood and cheered and clapped while the band played long after the actors left the stage. The play was outstanding. Foot stomping music, heartwarming true story that brought tears to many, but uproariously funny as...More

Just saw this and immediately got that sinking sensation that this was Booorrring! No character development ( how could there be with so many characters), music no way memorable ( when was the last time you heard someone singing a song from this show), trying...More

As a Canadian, my only regret seeing this was that I didn't have a flag to wave at the end. Heartfelt story of Canadian hospitality in the wake of an international disaster that united us all.Don't miss this.

You’ll still cry, but it’s a nice attempt at finding the good in humanity. It’s a short musical - no intermission - that utilizes minimal sets and maximizes actor talent. It’s a quality musical, but I still found the material (obviously) really dark and wouldn’t...More

With minimal costume and scenery changes this musical represents 16,000 people and on planes, buses, in homes, bars, school halls. Impressive integration of multiple stories and challenges experienced into a fast paced, humorous yet dramatic tale of planes landing and staying in Newfoundland when all...More

It isn’t too often that you walk away from reading or seeing stories from 9/11 with a huge smile on your face, but this musical left me with a huge smile. Great show, great actors. Each actor (maybe 12 of them) played so many different...More

The play is interesting in that we learn how the locals took care of their involuntary guests, but the music lacks any level of being memorable. Although this isn't a dig at the play, the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre seats are miserably close to each other,...More

I highly recommend this play. It is so amazing that 12 people can take a stage with a few chairs and tables and totally reconstruct a town over the course of a week with nearly 16,000 people. I thought I knew everything I could know...More

I think I experienced every possible emotion while watching this show in the best possible way. Wow, what a work of art this is! The acting and singing is some of the best I’ve seen on broadway, and I’ve seen many of broadway’s most popular...More

Excellent show. Travelled a long way to see this and it did not disappoint. Touching and funny. It will make you cry, laugh and clap your hands. Seats were in row d orchestra centre. Perfect view. Note: Drinks were very expensive.

I think a discussion should take place prior to the show. Then the performance will be extremely meaningful.
