Friendly local shot bar, Great for groups, OK for a couple.

Ok, so I don't know where we heard about Barcelona, but the idea of a Shot Bar intrigued me. The giant neon shot glass in the window makes no illusions as to what this place is... read more

Fun place. For a bar, limited beer selection especially draught. They do have a dozen or so bottle choices. Come here for a fun night of shots. They do interactive and skit based shots that make for a great night. Our bartender was Jason who has worked there for over 10 years but still made and acted out every shot... More

Went here because I heard about the Harry Potter shot. The shot in itself was a kamakazi shot with cinnamon but the best part is the show that comes with it. The bartender puts on the Potter scarf and glasses, then sets the drink on fire while spewing out Potter references, spells, and curses. So funny!! We also ordered the... More

The most ridiculous bar i have ever been in NY, and I leave in the city, by the way. They don't let people get in with NY id, which is ridiculous since it is the first bar in the city that ever said that to me. If you are thinking on going to that bar, don't! The guys are not... More

Ok, so I don't know where we heard about Barcelona, but the idea of a Shot Bar intrigued me. The giant neon shot glass in the window makes no illusions as to what this place is all about. I went on a Thursday night, the bar was full but not packed, we walked in and got 2 seats at the... More

This bar is a good stop for a couple of shots. They have so many options. The $7 ones are awesome because they do skits or play music. It is even better here when it is not busy (Mondays) because the bartender can really get into it and give you more attention. Last time we had a male bartender who... More

We had a hard time choosing between all the shots they offer in this amazing bar! We started with the 'Harry Potter' shot and were surprised of the hilarious act the bartenders offer. This bar is really vibrant and they have reasonable prices for NYC. Definitely go there if you want a good night of fun!

Came here on our first night as it read as a decent non-rip off place near our hotel. Bar staff was friendly. Sampled the local IPA and a Knob Creek bourbon. Recommended place for an end of the night drink. Lots of weird shot combos which I did not try.

My friend and I had a great time at Barcelona Bar. They have a multitude of shot options with very creative themes. This is a great place to take a small group of friends. The mixed drinks were also very well priced and strong. Both bar tenders were very nice and accommodating. I would definitely go back there!

After a night on the town, we went here for a drink to wind down the night. I may have had more fun here than anywhere else. First, we walked in to a very laid back crowd just hanging out listening to The Cure. No sooner did we get our beers when The Legend of Zelda theme began and a... More

Visited on veterans day 2013 as a starter bar for a friend's birthday night out & i have to say we loved it! If you like shots & a bit silly theatrics then ask the bartender for one of their speciality shots - you will not be let down!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
