This is one of the best tours I have ever taken my kids on. It would even be great for adults and just an evening event.
Kids got to see a farm in the middle of Manhattan and reinforce the science fundamentals taught in school. My daughter came away understanding photosynthesis better because it isn’t a traditional diet farm.
Adults loved the tour cause it is an opportunity to widen your culinary palate by tasting all these specialty herbs

This was a great tour that I would recommend over any other culinary tour in the city.

Farm. One is doing really big things in the urban farming space. And in the middle of New York City of all places. Truly a big fan of this and highly recommend people go check-out what could (and will) be the future of farming.

Farm. One is urban farming at it's finest - and by finest, I mean that the greens grown here aren't the lettuces you see springing up at other urban farms. Farm. One grows rare herbs and edible flowers that add unexpected flavors to plates at the finest dining destinations in the city. Visiting the farm and seeing the hydroponic technology that yields delights like wasabi arugula and cinnamon basil is a treat! Not only do Rob and team have an astounding wealth of knowledge about hydroponic farming, they are invested in giving everyone who comes by a slice of that knowledge and a good time - which includes sampling some of the herbs. Whether you're a foodie, restauranteur, or NYC visitor intrigued by urban agriculture, you will be glad you toured Farm. One!

I booked a tour then one week later I got a response from Trip Advisors that "as requested" it has been canceled it. I did not cancel it. I tried to rebook and it says that it is sold out or unavailable....but I did not hear from the company. I suspect the company cancelled it but did not notify me.

FarmOne is one of the finest urban farming operations in New York. Tasty tour and friendly staff. Definitely recommend visiting to better understand who and what makes some of the best greens you can find in the city.

Farm. One was an interesting example of hydroponic farming. Rob showed us around the farm giving us tastes of all kinds of unusual microgreens as we walked around. It was impressive to see the number of different greens and herbs being grown in a small space in downtown Manhattan. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone interested in urban farming and food.

I took the Farm Tour & Tasting session with wine & gift box, and had an absolute blast. So interesting to be exposed to this world that I had no idea existed, and taste some of the most unexpected and interesting things I've ever tasted. The prosecco was a great touch as well! A really enjoyable event.

While a bit expensive, this tour is a special occasion visit that offers a really cool look at a unique hydroponic farm. The tour includes taste tests of several interesting flowers and greens and is accompanied by optional Prosecco if you're into that. The farm smells so good and welcoming, with a relatively high humidity and comfortably warm temperature. You can see their "soil" and how water traverses the stacks of planters, so if you're interested in hydroponics or high end food culture in NYC, I recommend this cool visit to Farm.one!

Such an unexpected place to find in Manhattan. It was a fascinating tour, learned a lot about indoor farming. Got to taste some of the produce. The flavours of the herbs were so intense - really got your taste buds going! The Prosecco was a nice touch too. It was refreshing to visit a place like this.
