Located between Broadway and Columbus just across from the Lincoln Center, Dante Park is a delightfully landscaped little triangle shaped park welcomed among all the buildings. Dedicated in 1921, there is also a bronze statue of Dante.

Dante Park is quite small and located near the David Geffen hall. Nice little park with a statute in the middle. Not one to go out of your way to find.

We walked past Dante park after dinner. There were some tables around the park that people were sitting in, and a statue or two. That’s about it.

It is right across from Lincoln Center. There is a bus stop in front of it. Noticed the sign and the write-up about the statue. Interesting.

Who says New York City is expensive.

Buy a coffee at one of the six nearby Starbucks, walk here (it is directly across the Lincoln Center), find a seat, check your smart phone, talk to strangers and watch New York walk you by.

Each hour of the day or night is different, so come often!

We sat in Dante Park across from Lincoln Center for an hour just watching the people go by. It is a cute triangular slice with a large statue of Dante Alighieri in the middle. There is a wonderful canopy of old trees. We sat on both the benches and at the little tables with chairs and drank a coffee. It was a wonderful respite from the hot sun!

This Park close to the Lincoln Centre is small, but occupies a prominent position. Well planted and with an excellent statue of Dante, hence the name. There are benches around and some of the nearby cafes have spilled over seating into the area giving a continental impression. Worth a look as you pass by.

Saw Dante Park on our way to Lincoln center. While the park is small, but it is a nice cozy park if you are in the area and want to take a break. There is a statue of Dante which gives the place its name.

Dante Park has become a warm weather favorite for people watching as they come and go to Lincoln Center.
Sculptures don the area for the delight of turista and locals alike. Currently, the Hippo Ballerina is a must picture spot. It evokes images of " Fantasia".
The center of the park is dominated by a statue of Dante.the Italian poet.

Iron tables and chairs are at opposite ends of the small triangular park. Perfect to sit down, enjoy conversation, sip and eat from the many eateries around, or just gaze into the plaza of Lincoln Center with its centered fountain surrounded by the three buildings that make up the Center.

Recently, as I was waiting for a friend before a performance, I sat at one of the tables sipping iced coffee and enjoying the breeze.
