I visited the Bow Bridge once in December 2021 and once in January 2022. The first time I viewed it from a distance and took a photo. The second time, I walked from Belvedere Castle, through The Ramble and then to Bow Bridge. It was full of people. I walked across the bridge. I was hungry and there was a guy selling food so I bought a large pretzel. The path after crossing the Bow Bridge leads to the Bethesda Fountain.

The Bow Bridge is one of those bridges that you've more then likely seen in films or on TV. It's much nicer in person. Easy to access, add it to your list when you visit Central Park.

Entered Central Park at Strawberry fields then walked to Bow Bridge. Beautiful spot on a chilly April. There are so many great spots to see the bridge from across the water to up close. Keep an eye out for all the wildlife that live in the park.

We got married just of the Bridge at 10:00 am on June 16, 2018. What a beautiful setting. The weather was perfect! My bride and I seem to be the only people on earth! If you have never been to that part of the park, I highly suggest it! Bring your cameras as the background is amazing!

We were on a long walk in Central Park and passed this very pretty bridge, a classic feature of the Park. It's on the way to Strawberry Fields.

I think it’s best viewed from a knoll above it to the south. The bridge is painted in a light colour and looks for all the world as if it is made of carved stone. In fact, it was constructed using cast iron, way back in 1862. It stands out from its surroundings in a way that other features in Central Park don’t. Which makes it all the more stunning to take a look at.

Central Park is beautiful overall. On each visit, I’m always discovering a hidden nook or turn- and the backdrop is always stunning. The park’s layout is spread over several elevations so from this bridge, you can really see this. It wasn’t difficult at all to take a picture. As many people visit this park, I’m surprised that the bridge wasn’t crowded.

Bow bridge offers a great view over Manhattan. While passing by Central Park, you must go through the Bow Bridge. It is really beautiful and you can get a unique view over the city, while still enjoying the green side of it.
