First time visiting US Open from the UK and first experience of Arthur Ashe stadium. We paid a lot of $$$ for airfares, accommodation, tickets. We enjoyed the tennis in general but would not buy tickets for this stadium again. We were in the upper tier, 306 which had a good view, however lacklustre atmosphere and no audience etiquette. Lots of people chatting throughout the match, many people on their phones (instagram scrolling / reading a novel/ writing emails). Others going back and forth buying food and drink so constantly standing up/down while the match was in play, with no staff managing this.
It felt like going to the cinema or theatre where the performance has started but the lights are on and everyone is chatting or on their phones. It did get better as people started to leave (had seen enough?) and empty seats - we moved to the back of the tier so we didn't have people coming and going next to us - it was much better then.
Perhaps it's just how it is at the US Open and our expectations were off.
Louis Armstrong stadium was good, Grandstand stadium had a brilliant atmosphere and the other courts had great energy!

We came here for my brother's med school graduation and had a very pleasant time. Sometimes these ceremonies can be crowded and confusing, but this place was well-organized and very clean. The seats were surprisingly comfortable. They had the ceiling closed against the heat, but I wish that they'd turned on the fans at the beginning.

We decided to go to the U.S. Open because we found reasonable tickets. I enjoyed it SO much, we bought tickets to return the next day, too. Arthur Ashe Stadium was awesome and, surprisingly, for as big as it is, there didn't seem to be a bad seat in the place.

Be prepared for a steep climb if you are in the nosebleed seats, as we were. Be prepared to pay a steep premium for tickets to enter the stadium. But oh, the experience watching night games! Simply fabulous.

The website says there are tours all year from October to July - we turned up on Saturday and there are no tours on weekends. We were not the only ones who were there.

There are few places where you can see tennis played at this quality. I would definitely recommend coming here. It is certainly a must visit destination for any Tennis fan. It is also good for non tennis fans.

The stadium is truly excellent. There isn’t a bad seat in the house. My wife and I watched 11 matches at the US open tennis tournament in Arthur Ashe. We had seats in a few locations and all offered good views and a wonderful experience.

Attended the US Open last week at the Arthur Ashe Stadium and everyone had a great time. The place was well organized and clean. Had seats in the Upper Promenade but had no issues watching the game. Food and drinks are pricey as you would expect. The only issue was that the line for drinks is very long and slow. They were understaffed in that area.

Great tennis matches on Ashe! When the roof is closed, it gets a bit loud. Good staff.
Some of the seats are so far up in the "nosebleed section" are terrible. So expensive! Great tennis! Iconic location!

Ciao, sai dirmi se Arthur Ashe Stadium è visitabile anche quando non c'è US Open? C'è un museo o un percorso informativo? Grazie
