Carriage tours are really a tourist trap but they have lasted the test of time. Plenty to choose from. Interesting tour guides.

Myself and my husband visited New York in May and a horse and carriage trip in central park was on my bucket list. Our driver Frank Rodden was absolutely fantastic. He was so chatty and told us so much about the surroundings. His horse Pickles was adorable. Frank really made this experience excellent for us and I would highly recommend asking for him if you are looking to book this. Fantastic experience. Rita…

Also I discovered the company actually charged my credit card for 2 carriages instead of just 2 people. They have refused to return my calls or emails. Extremely disappointed -…

Response from Frank R, Owner at Central Park Carriage Company

First of all Christmas Day is an extremely hectic day for us, one of the busiest days of the year. Secondly I have checked my records and I have gotten back to you and there is no double charge. If you can email me a copy of your credit card statement that shows where you were charged twice by "Central Park Carriage Company" then by all means you will receive a refund but there are many companies out there with very similar names.
