You have the option to buy your tickets online or from one of the kiosk machines rather than wait in line. We've often been here for an early film and treated ourself to a hot dog (very good!) from the concession stand. Restrooms are several and well maintained. The seats are comfortable and the theaters are always clean and neat. Usually a good selection of first run films on offer. Recently we came for the "Pope Francis" film.

A nice theater. It's cool they have the machines to buy your tickets rather than having to wait in line. The location is convenient, being so close to Union Square Park. The tickets are expensive, but it's to be expected in lower Manhattan. The seats were comfortable but reclined to a point that I felt like was in free-fall. When I sat up the blood rushed to my head. I didn't try any of the concessions because my wallet was already hurting from the ticket price. Overall, it's a good theater. I've been to better and worse.

Definitely think twice before going to this movie theater. It's a giant mess of construction, not fit for anyone to be inside, and yet they are selling tickets. The staff directed us to the wrong movie (the theaters do not have numbers or postings outside of them), so we had to see a later showing of the correct movie and the staff did nothing to compensate. BEWARE!

Don't go to the Regal Union Square in Greenwich Village (NYC). About 15-20 of us left the multiplex theaters soon after the shows began due to much construction noise (sounded like jackhammers) inside the building. More people followed us. The managers at the theaters were totally unapologetic. The customer experience personnel at the corporate office were displayed extreme indifference.

Four of us just finished dinner at the Strip House, packed up a dog bag of the remaining steak, and headed over for a movie. We were stopped by the ticket taker who yelled out "No outside Food" We almost laughed and calmly explained it was leftover steak from dinner. Another employee jumped in gleefully announcing "No outside food" They just kept repeating the same line. No basic logic would help - we explained we just had dinner and weren't about to all stick our hands in the bag and finish off the remaining steak with our hands. I asked to speak to a manager - assuming that common sense would arrive. Instead the manager (Ericcson) was even more rude proclaiming "No outside food". We even explained we would be buying candy - it didn't help, there was no way to reason with the manager or staff. They just kept repeating "no outside food". I understand the need for a policy but you have to use your head. What made it worse was they were excited about turning us away, as if spotting the food was the highlight of the evening. Team was incredibly rude - we asked for (and received) a refund. Easy enough to just go to a different theater a few blocks away and had no problems. Cant believe Regal wants to lose money by turning away guests. Would suggest taking a look at how much money this theater is losing by having the staff bar guests from entering. Seems like others have had the same issue.

Huge property, multiple floors, clean, and comfortable. I really like assigned seating (at purchase), and have had no issues. It's a movie theater!

So I typically go to the Regal theaters to catch a movie. Love the app and the rewards points that can be built up. Hate that they expire though. But anyway, caught Solo today with my boys and it was great. Both the movie and the theater. Because the movie was out for a month already we knew it would not be as crowded. Something we always look to do. Went to the first show and unlike AMC they let us in early and we sat right away. We also made a mess with some spilled cheese on a carpet and I told the staff and straight away someone came to clean it up. Better job than I could have done. These guys are skilled. Overall great experience.

I have visited this theater in the past. I enjoy going here. I usually catch at least one SAG(Screen Actor's Guild) nominated movie. I saw an 8pm showing of "Disaster Artist," but I prefer going earlier in the day when the theater is not packed with people. It's a cool theater, you can order your tickets online and pick them up at one of the kiosk in the lobby. See attached photos. The movie was ridiculously funny. The Regal shows new releases and can be a bit pricey, I was surprised at my $17.00 ticket price. If you have a little wait before the start of your movie there is a Whole Foods that is literally around the corner and directly across the street is Maison Kayser. There is also a place to sit and eat at the Food Emporium. On a nice day you can sit on the benches at Union Square.

Didn’t get the chance to see the movie since ‘my food’ is not allowed there. But saw a women with a bag of outside food passed through, because ‘her food’ is okay.
And when I confronted the staff who let the lady in with outside food. He lied to me right in my face. Being treated so rudely and difficultly.
