Worth $20 in NYC

I cannot express my sheer luck- this place is awful! We walked through Times Square on the day however and got stopped by a hilarious "broadway comedy" rep who was very flirty and nice. After stupidly purchasing two tickets- €25 each which we thought we were getting a deal because it said €30 on the ticket- because he said comedy... More

While me and my husband were at dinner I found a Groupon for his place walking distance from where we were at. Waiting area is a bit small and the club itself but the comedians were great. The opening act guy was probably one of the funniest. Nice place to go hangout after dinner for a good laugh. We had... More

Like other reviews have mentioned we fell into the trap of being caught in Times Square by a "registered seller" who promised all these big name stars such as Tina Fey plus other famous names, seller even showed is pictures of who would be performing and how log they would be performing for. He dropped the tickets to $20 as... More

Bought the tickets from Times Square.... the tickets are always $20 so it was not cheaper through him. The show was pretty good. Poppy was a great host. Small audience of 30ish. I'm sure because it was cold and January. There were many comedians. They all were pretty good. Some better then others. The one big issue was the mom... More

We, like other tourists were promised big names at this show, one of them being Amy Schumer. Lies!!! We bought tickets off the street and were also told there wouldn't be a 2 drink minimum that night. Yet when we got there we found out that was a lie too - it cost us $US50 for the four drinks that... More

There were about 10ish people performing during about 1.5 hours. The quality of humour varied greatly. Some performers were very good, but few had too long and awkward pauses and poor jokes and performed poorly. Overall - average, but a bit towards positive. 2 drinks minimum is standard as I understand.

Bought tickets for a comedy club off the street, promised Tina fey among many other famous comedians - being travelers we don't have wifi access and thus couldn't check on this. We decided to trust the man who named himself Brady and purchased two tickets at $30us each - he assured us they were cheap as it was last minute... More

First you've got to accept that whatever they advertise, the actual ticket price is close to $40 per head ( $20 for ticket bought from street vendor plus $20 for compulsory 2 drinks purchased). For 90 minutes of really very good comedy, I thought that was pretty good value. -especially in this town. I took my 2 teenagers ( show... More

I am giving 2 stars just because overall I had a fun night with my dad and sister, other wise it would be lower. We are locals and decided to do something different and fun. When buying the tickets, Sergio told us that it was the 50th anniversary show, and Amy Poehler and Tina Fey were headlining. He sold us... More

On our trip to New York we wanted to experience as much as possible, including a comedyshow. Didn't look up any reviews before ordering tickets for a show in the Broadway Comedy Club. (With a discount) the day of the show I found the reviews on TripAdvisor and they scared me a little bit. However, most of the reviews were... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
