Luckily we had a perfect day for walking outside in NYC. Our guide, Anny, was the best--friendly, fun, enthusiastic, and a great singer! We learned a lot about the NOHO and NOLITA sections of NYC and sampled great food. Portions were very generous and we were all full by the end of the tour. So many places that my husband... More

In September 2016, six of us attended the Chelsea Market Food Tour with Highline Attraction. Our tour guide was Curt Upton, who is a true foodie and stand-up comedien on the side. He was highly energetic, informative and quick-witted. The food on the tour was top shelf and plentiful. We were all full at the end. Curt managed to bring... More

Greenwich Village Tour...Jordan was our very knowledgeable and funny guide. Food and history lessons were great! Decent size group of really nice people. Made some new friends as well. Fun, fun fun day! Lots of new places to check out and cant' wait to go back for some yummy cookies at "Milk and Cookies". Definitely doing more of these tours.

The tour was fun and very informative. It exceeded expectations. The Chelsea Market is a treasure, and we were introduced to it by a knowledgable and amusing guide, Cindy.

I cannot say enough great things about this tour and our tour guide, Bert. This tour did such a fantastic job of providing a variety of foods to taste at authentic NY spots. I knew nothing about Greenwich Village and after this tour it's now my favorite part of the city! Bert was SO entertaining, funny, and knowledgeable. My only... More

As a first time "tourist" - like everyone I wanted to experience NYC food. A friend recommended a food tour - what a great experience. The prices is so affordable and the food was delicious. We have now been on all of this companies tours and have enjoyed everyone of them (except Brooklyn). Yesterday, we did the Heart of the Village tour with Paulette (she was fantastic!). What a great time! I highly recommend this tour! Next year the Brooklyn tour!

We had done other of their tours and did the Heart Of Greenwich Village tour with Rahim as our guide. There is always more than enough to eat and Rahim had great stories and info about the area. This had a blend of Mexican, Indian and of course much Italian food including Monte's a real old school Italian village experience... More

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
