A friend and I went on the Heart of Greenwich tour and love, love, loved it! 3 hour tour included 8 delicious tastings and great sight seeing tour of the area. Raheem was charming and so knowledgeable! This was my 2nd Food Tour (Chelsea with Darrell was first and also amazing) and I look forward to my next!

We went on this tour on Friday, December 2, 2016. Cindy was our tour guide. Cindy was fantastic and the food tour was wonderful. Cindy was very informative, energetic and very funny. The tour covered more than just food. It was a great cultural experience I would highly recommend this tour and would definitely do another food tour when in... More

Bert was outstanding. he must have guided this tour hundreds of times, but he made it sound fresh and as if he was doing it for the first time. Lots of enthusiasm and great sense of humor. We had the pleasure of enjoying the Heart of the Village tour with Paulette this past weekend. It was incredible and the absolute highlight of our trip! Paulette had an awesome and comical personality - perfect for a tour guide. She had an immense knowledge of Greenwich Village that truly added to the experience - We saw historical sites, famous... Wow! What a great use of our time in NYC! Bari did a fantastic job showing us around West Village! She is super fun and super knowledgeable. Thank you Bari! Also, this tour was an extraordinary value. We thought we would be getting bite size portions to taste, but instead full size portions! Yummy! We will definitely try another tour... More

This was my second trip to NYC and second Foods of NY tour (I previously did the Heart of the Village tour in May). My husband and I absolutely loved this! The Chelsea market was amazing, but we would not have known the history, the must eats and all the fun facts if not for taking this tour. Darrell was... More

I'm not sure where to start! I loved our NoHo/NoLita tour with Bert!! He was funny, informative, helpful and down to earth. The food selections were amazing. This was by far my favorite part of my NYC trip.

My husband and I did a walking tour of Chelsea Market and the surrounding Highline and Meatpacking District. It was fascinating to tour the Market, which was the old Nabisco Cookie factory, and sample great tastings along the way. Our tour guide, Curt, was not only funny, but a wealth of information. In addition, we also had the privilege of... More

We had a fantastic time on our tour. Joanna was very knowledgeable and kept us all on time. We certainly had plenty to eat! So many great selections and unique experiences. It was delicious, entertaining with lots of variety. Joanna was the best! She remembered it was my daughters' birthday and she made the tour very special.

Raheem kept us interested, satisfied, and laughing throughout the 3 hour tour. We have been to NYC several times and this was one of our all time favorite trips - we would... More

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
