I couldn't wait for this tour as it promised the opportunity for a Brit like myself to see the places that the music I loved in my teen years was made. I loved so many New York bands of the seventies that this tour seemed tailor made for me. I got to see and hear about all I expected and... More

Bobby Pinn sure knows and loves music history. He tells some great music stories and puts them in context with what was happening in the neighborhood/city/country at the time. Interesting tour in a fascinating neighborhood. We went to the Ramones exhibit at the Queens Museum one day and did Bobby's tour the next. It was a fun-filled music-themed weekend in... More

Nice walking tour through East Village / Lower East Side related to punk rock and rock-n-roll. Relaxing pace, a few stories, a few slides shown by the guide. One can feel has has lived all that stories through himself.

Just back in the UK and really enjoyed this walking tour. Bobby certainly knows his stuff and happily answered our questions, not matter how inane (and he`s probably heard most of them already!) I wanted to go on this tour to pay homage to my favourite band, The Ramones and I felt quite emotional as I approach CBGB`s! Bobby had... More

Great walking tour (2 hours) for people who like rock history (and little jazz, blues and overall NYC history). The tour begins near Joe Ramone's apartment and ends at the legendary CBGB club. Very informative and the guide Bobby Pinn does know the stuff. It is delivered very well, with good jokes in the middle. Highly recommend.

A must for music fans. Really enjoyed getting to see some legendary spots from punk and rock history. The group wasn't too big and the pace was relaxed.

We wanted something different to do on our second trip to NYC and a search on the internet led us to the Rock Junket tours. We picked the East Village tour and met Bobby Pinn at the time and place stated on the email (booking was very easy). 'Bobby' was friendly and full of facts and stories about the musicians... More

Great way to spend a sunny Saturday! Bobby Pin knows his Lower East Side rock and punk joint, history, and locales! Only wish it could have lasted longer.

On a sweltering New York July morning/afternoon, Bobby Pin(n) took us on a fabulous tour of some iconic East Village rock and punk sites. Informative and interesting; Bobby really knows his stuff. Unfortunately there was nothing he could do about the heat! Fun fact: an egg cream has neither egg nor cream in it.

While my wife was at a work conference in NYC I booked this tour to see the music sights and learn about the history of the scene in NYC. I met up with Bobby Pinn and a few other people for this tour. Loved that I got to experience first hand the sites from bands like Led Zeppelin (Physical Graffiti... More
