Rock Junket East Village tour

Execllent tour with a hugely knowledgable guide. Well worth doing if you're a music lover. Probably the best tour we did in our 5 days in NY.

As a big rock music fan who's passionate about knowing music-related details and everything about the rock music scene culture, this sort of tour was really interesting to me to widen my knowledge as I've learned many new things and it was fun having to walk around a village that has many important historic landmarks when it comes to rock... This tour was so much fun. The stories, the accessories, the places, our great guide. Genuine Rock-n-roll. It was like a dream. And the day was hot as hell, but the tour was so personal and refreshing. Thanks for great time and next time I'll take the west Village one. Cheers !!! Hey Ho – Let’s Go !!!

I couldn't wait for this tour as it promised the opportunity for a Brit like myself to see the places that the music I loved in my teen years was made. I loved so many New York bands of the seventies that this tour seemed tailor made for me. I got to see and hear about all I expected and... More

Bobby Pinn sure knows and loves music history. He tells some great music stories and puts them in context with what was happening in the neighborhood/city/country at the time. Interesting tour in a fascinating neighborhood. We went to the Ramones exhibit at the Queens Museum one day and did Bobby's tour the next. It was a fun-filled music-themed weekend in... More

Nice walking tour through East Village / Lower East Side related to punk rock and rock-n-roll. Relaxing pace, a few stories, a few slides shown by the guide. One can feel has has lived all that stories through himself.

Just back in the UK and really enjoyed this walking tour. Bobby certainly knows his stuff and happily answered our questions, not matter how inane (and he`s probably heard most of them already!) I wanted to go on this tour to pay homage to my favourite band, The Ramones and I felt quite emotional as I approach CBGB`s! Bobby had... More

Great walking tour (2 hours) for people who like rock history (and little jazz, blues and overall NYC history). The tour begins near Joe Ramone's apartment and ends at the legendary CBGB club. Very informative and the guide Bobby Pinn does know the stuff. It is delivered very well, with good jokes in the middle. Highly recommend.

A must for music fans. Really enjoyed getting to see some legendary spots from punk and rock history. The group wasn't too big and the pace was relaxed.
