While definitely a tourist attractions, it also provides history into architecture and culture of the city and stage.

When I did the tour I think the guide said around August. This may not be correct though.

Are you kidding? You sit where your ticket says you are assigned. Row and seat number. Ushers very strict here as in all NYC theaters.
