A highlight of our trip to NYC was our backstage tour of Radio City Music Hall. Our group of 28 was comprised of kids and parents. We all enjoyed hearing and seeing the Hall. Since our visit was during a Rocketts performance, we didn't actually get to go backstage. However we were thrilled to meet one of the Rocketts (Sierra,... More

It was so exciting to see the Rockettes perform. The music, the costumes, the colourful sets...all were spectacular. the show itself was delightful - two children who end up exploring the city on their own. In its own way, it was a great orientation to the sites of the city. This is a beautiful building, with an immense stage. Ticket... More

We were encouraged by our concierge to see this show before it closed in August. So we got tickets at the last minute and we were glad we did! The show was fun for the whole family and of course the Rockettes were amazing!!

Visited in July 2016 for the New York Spectacular Rockette show. Wasn't sure what to expect. The venue is very impressive, and worth a visit just for that. However the show was really first rate. 90 minutes of singing and dancing with a loose story theme. The sets and graphics are amazing and a number of times you can't believe... More

While coming out from Top of the Rock visit, we passed by the entrance to the Radio City Music Hall. This iconic entertainment venue is located in Rockefeller Center in New York City. Its nickname is the Showplace of the Nation. Inside visits and tour programmes are available for those interested.

This is a must-see destination for any New York visit. It is amazing how well the building has been kept for so many years. The bathrooms are a destination in themselves.

The venue itself is impressive. Knowing the history of the Rockettes and a bit about everything else that goes on there is a lot of fun. We saw the Rockettes show and loved it!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
