Just pick up the movie starring Renee Zellwegger and Catherine Zeta-Jones. It's much better than anything you will find here. There were actually tears in my eyes the first act, because the music was butchered and Bob Fosse's beautiful choreography was spit on. The orchestra and Amos, played by Paul Vogt, were the only somewhat redeeming factors to this mess... More

The two leads: Velma and Roxy were played by wonderful actesses, delivering spellbinding scenes. I particularly like Roxy (Amy Spanger). She had so many clever moves, expressions and interpretations, both grand and subtle, that I could not wait to see what she would come up with next. The supporting cast was excellent with their own unique contributions, and of course... More

I knew most of the music and had seen isolated numbers from this show but this was the first time I had seen the whole show. We really enjoyed the singing and the dancing was amazing, with one exception, Wendy Williams, not really sure who told her she could sing but her performance was not good. The timing and performance... More

If you have not experienced this Musical ...RUN... don't walk to go see the revival. Nothing beats a classic. Wendy Williams played Mama and I came face to face with her outside the theater. Sweet lady

My wife really wanted to see a Broadway musical with great dancing so I picked Chicago. Yes it doesn't have big stars but who cares when the voices are brilliant and the dancing/choreography is suburb. The line was long 30 minutes before the show waiting for the doors to open so you might want to get there early. The negative... More

We were passing the theatre on Thursday afternoon and decided to see what tickets we could get on the spur of the moment. we got tickets for Friday evening at a reduced price as there were lots of empty seats. the show ok but not as good as I had anticipated. it seemed a bit tired though the performers did... After seeing many different shows in the West End, I must say that this musical did not come anywhere near close to those in the West End. It felt as if the show had run its time, and that all the actors needed a serious boost and they seemed to be almost bored and working on auto pilot. Because this... More

Low quality in the singing lets this show down. Entertaining but not worth the money. Some good performances do not make up for the tragic ones.

We all know the story. We remember the songs. We can indentify with the actors, the band and I relaly liked the stage set-up. It felt like everyone there was into their job. But somehow, I just didn't think it was incredible nor did I think it had really delivered what I was hoping for. Why? Not sure, maybe it... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
