I just came back from NYC and I saw this musical on the 13Sep. Chicago is my favourite musical and my expectations were high. The stage setting is the biggest turn off. The orchestra fill almost the entire stage so there is just a few meters for the crew to perform. The stage setting and wardrobe look very poor. I... More

No matter who the leading ladies are, you'll be amazed at this revival. It's been back and forth for many years with good reason. Another classic Broadway show to be seen. Saw in late 90's early 2000's. What can I say, I love my Broadway shows!

I have to admit, I have seen Chicago before, and went because Bianca Marroquin was in the role of Roxie. But no matter who is in the cast, the show is entertaining!

Recently sent 5 fantastic days in NYC, had a fantastic time. Unfortunately there was one letdown! When planning out trip we wanted to see a Broadway musical and Chicago had to be the one! The tickets weren't cheap but we thought it would be worth it, £85 each. How wrong were we!! There was no bling about this show, no... More

Recently I went to New York on vacation with my mom. The first thing I told her was that I really wanted to watch a Broadway Show. So we did. It was the best experience I had on that week (except the time we lost on the queue to buy the tickets with 50% off). The Ambassador Theatre has a... More

Excellent show that was entertaining and delivered with enthusiasm. If you have seen the movie then the show is a must. We sat next to a couple from LA who had seen it 8 times.

It's a good show BUT it does not deliver the Broadway experience. The set is none existent and there are no costume changes. They may be going for minimalist but it just comes across as lazy. Cast are great but they don't save the show!

Went to this excited about the reviews. This show has been going for years and has had big name actors like Patrick swayze, Linda carter. Christie Brinkley play in it. But not this time. It felt like the orchestra was put on the stage to make up for lack of props and stage production. The singers and dancers had a... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
