I was really looking forward to seeing a show on Broadway. I bought a ticket for Chicago as that's one I hadn't seen. The cast were good but the staging lets the whole production down. For the price you pay for a ticket I was expecting a lot more in terms of overall production value. I thought there would be... More

We go to Broadway shows several times per year, and this is the second time we've seen Chicago. The first was great, this time it was barely average, and what made it average was Mel B aka "Scary Spice." (Same thing with Cats -- Leona Lewis just didn't have the chops for Broadway.) The rest of the cast was fantastic:... More

Mel B enjoyed her delivery as much as we enjoyed watching. only disappointment was an unimaginative and never changing set ... guess they had to find an innovative way of fitting the band in ..... who by the way were superb. if choosing a Broadway show you can't go wrong with this one

Bought half price tickets from the booth on Times Square. 76€ each. Mel B from the spice girls played Roxy Hart. She's not the best singer or actor in the world but she was very enthusiastic and the show was entertaining.

My discomfort in the theater significantly reduced my enjoyment of the show. The theater is old and worn, the seats are very small, and the rows are ridiculously close together. The staff I encountered were very professional and very nice, particularly the usher. I doubt I will ever see another show in this theater. The fact that I've written a... More

I have seen Chicago numerous times, but had never seen it on Broadway. I was finally able to do so, and was so excited! First things first, I got a sippy cup full of wine. I settled into the teeny, tiny seat (my knees were hitting the seat in front of me, and I'm only 5'6'). The orchestra started, and... More

Great show, Mel B was brilliant as were all the cast. We bought tickets in the back mezzanine, great view as it is a small venue. Only downside is the size of the seats, for anyone tall or slightly large you are going to struggle, try and get an aisle seat. My oh is tall & has a bad back... More

I must admit I didn't know the story of Chicago before I booked this. We booked through the TKTs booth at Times Square. I'm so glad we chose this musical! It was fantastic. Loved that it had an orchestra you could see playing and they incorporated the musicians into the show. It was humorous and fun to watch. The singers... More

We took our 19 year old son with us, he was sure he'd fall asleep during the performance. Needless to say he did not and actually enjoyed the show. My husband and I thought it was wonderful. Do not hesitate to see this musical. The cast is very talented and held my attention throughout the entire performance. Yes the theatre... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
