A nice area to walk around among old historic buildings away from the steel skyscrapers. But most of the buildings are trendy shops and restaurants. The seaport museum itself has a fee to enter as well as the historic ships that are moored here.

Lots of little pubs and restaurants, and little parks with walkways. Strolling around the piers was really nice and it gives a relaxing vibe. Still lots to take in and some different views of the city.

Lots of little streets to stroll around, shops to pop in & out of, little cafes & restaurants. It is no where near a busy as the rest of the city so a great way to spend sometime when in manhattan. The brooklyn bridge is just around the corner

I nice area of shops and restaurants near the Brooklyn Bridge and Battery Park. A good choice if you want to spend the day in Lower Manhattan and want to grab lunch or dinner.
