Finally got to visit the main building after it was under construction for such a long time. As soon as I walked in I was impressed. That day there was a mini orchestra present so it was nice to walk around and see all the...More

Yet another reason why New York City remains the most important Metro city of the world. Visiting UN is a unique and exciting experience. Must see for fist time visitors to NYC.

We booked online beforehand, actually there were plenty of spaces on tours on our day. We had a lovely tour guide and a small group. This would suit people who are interested in politics, art, international relations, history. We loved seeing the art works and...More

The tour takes you inside the United Nations, even into the General Assembly and other meeting rooms while the UN business is taking place. Our tour guide was very informative and so proud of the UN does to make the World a better place.

This is an amazing place where many countries get together. Make sure you visit during a weekday as there are no tours on Saturdays or Sundays. Also all the flags are not flying on WEs.

I have visited the United Nations Headquarters and took a tour to visit the rooms. The only room we weren't able to visit was the one of the Security council. I have learned a few things about the UNO. The flags were not showing that...More

I had visited the UN Headquarters in the 1970's and was impressed with the tour that included the General Assembly and Security Council assemblies. There was no security or long lineups then. How things have Changed! I was told that I would have to go...More

The tour is going through the Assembly Rooms, and some gifts from countries to UN. Some parts of the story telling are about who made the longest speech, and who gave what that is on display. I might say that the tour is presented best...More

I think you would be able to go in for sure; may not be open for a long duration of time, usually, tours move from room to room and don't allow you to deviate from the group

The official tour is most interesting. You go to places you can only visit with a guide. It takes about a hour and we enjoyed it very much. Fascinating info.
