I have to admit it is spectacular. The show was much more creative than the last time I saw it, Simply entering this huge building is overwhelming as is the city of New York. And you don’t have to buy the most expensive tickets to really enjoy the show. Our $86 seats halfway back on the center isle were more than adequate to see and enjoy everything. We paid less this visit and truly enjoyed it more.

The show is very well done, lots of variety in the acts, a great experience to get into the holiday spirit. I would highly recommend not bringing children younger than 12. The little ones do not appreciate the fine performance and get bored easily. The two little girls sitting in front of us fell asleep after the first 15 minutes but their brother was restless the entire 90 minutes of the show which was very distracting. My 15-year old enjoyed the show and stayed engaged the entire length of it but probably only because she is a competitive dancer herself and appreciates the technical aspects of dancing.

Seeing this show was something I’ve wanted to do since I was a little girl. I couldn’t wait to go! Radio City Music Hall is beautiful. The staff outside were very friendly. The show was amazing and I could never tire of watching it. There were so many little unexpected surprises. My only negatives are: 1) We bought a bucket of popcorn to share at a very high price and it literally tasted stale and flavorless. Lots of hard kernels too. No butter, no salt and stale. That was disappointing. 2) The souvenir stand is highly expensive. A Christmas ornament was $40, a pair of socks was $20. It’s a shame they don’t offer a variety for all price ranges. I ended up not buying a souvenir and said the popcorn bucket would be the souvenir. 3) My view was blocked when people sat in front of me. Every time they moved their head I had to move mine to be able to see. Tickets aren’t cheap and it was frustrating struggling to see. Keep this in mind when picking your seat location if you aren’t a tall person. The show itself is so fun…these ladies are so talented. You will really enjoy it.

The rockettes are amazing! The rest disappointing. Unfriendly staff, crowds everywhere and show started while half the guests were still in line to get inside. I think they run to many shows a day, 4 a day just feels like rushing guests in and out without any ambience.

The rockettes and their dancing was amazing - but tbh I expected to see them 80% to 90% of the show, of course with little other show elements for the costume changes. In reality it was more like 50/50. Didn’t like that. I came to see the rockettes and not some animals that do a Jesus is born replay. Also- live animals? Don’t think that’s appropriate it 2021

Attended the Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes for the morning show. All attendees must go through Metal Detectors. The Chase Members go through a separate entrance while general public ticket holders squeeze into another entrance. Give yourself at least 15 minutes for the general public security check line. You are not allowed to bring food or drink inside. A Hotdog costs us $6 while a bottle of water costs $4. The more expensive the tickets;the closer you get to the front. We paid $112 dollars each and was seated in the back of first floor mezzanine. Still far away from the stage. The show was enjoyable but overpriced. There is no intermission. The show lasts about an hour and a half.

I spent my childhood in Brooklyn, NY and one of my precious memories is going to see this with my parents. Fast forward 55 plus years later and my dad is gone, and my mom unable to travel. However, I wanted my older son to enjoy this a I had, being a bit skeptical that at age 28 he might be "bored". From start to finish this is a must do! The staff were very nice as they directed us before the lines or gates opened, and were very clear. The security staff were efficient, and the ushers not only showed us our seats but filled us in on interesting history of the music hall. Although we were in the second mezzanine, they turned out to be great seats to see the entire precision and line up. All in all it was a spectacular day - it's hard to do justice to a show that has one clapping, laughing, gasping and tearing up in rapid succession. My son was completely enthralled and has told so many of his friends about it. I would definitely see it again. The show has been updated but some of the old favorites like the toy Solider routine remain. It's been part of the show since 1933 - and if you see it you will understand why.
One word of caution - get your tickets early because we waited until the second week of December and it was almost fully sold out.

I have been to New York at least a dozen times and had never gone to this show...what a mistake! I cannot say enough good things. Great sound, great visuals, great costumes, 3D, a live orchestra, live animals, a HD video screen as big and as clear as IMAX, and of course the Rockettes who were simply perfect. When I consider the diverse content that was jammed into 90 minutes for the price; especially compared to what I have paid for many Broadway shows, it was also a tremendous value. I do have to say the extensive imbedded advertising for Chase, and a few others, was a bit off-putting; but it was clear that no expense was spared in the production and if that’s what it takes to achieve that level I can live with it. I highly recommend the show, especially if you have children.

I had booked tickets prior to leaving the UK, on the day we were meant to attend our daughter was unwell, so we could not go, and were disappointed. However my husband spoke to someone at Radio City the next day and they told us to attend on any other day we could, wait in line and if there were seats available they would get us in, because we had booked direct via the Radio City website. Two days later we got to see the show. Everyone at the front of house was very accommodating and the seats we were given as replacement were better than we had originally booked. I am so grateful to them for allowing us to see the show when we thought we would not be able.

The show - WOW! what an amazing performance from these very talented dancers. We enjoyed every minute of the performance, especially the dancing Santa's!

If you are in New York at christmas this is a must.

The overall show was amazing, I enjoyed it so much. The were real animals being used in the show and the music was loud and I’d hope this would agitate the animals, also I always worry about the conditions they would be living in, in between performances each day.
The biggest annoyance was many people arrived late to the show and continued to walk in and find their seat, even 30 minutes after the show had started. This caused people who did make it on time, to continuously stand up whilst the late arrivers shuffled through the rows.
There were so many late people, I felt this was a big unnecessary distraction.
What performance organisers do in London is if any people arrive late, they all wait 30 minutes at the back to then be taken to their seats with an escort, therefore only one disturbance to those seated as opposed to one after another. Just a suggestion as this was quite annoying.

The Christmas Spectacular is a wonderful show, perfect for anyone visiting NYC during the holiday season. I've seen it many times and it never fails to inspire and impress me. The whole show is a joy-filled spectacle and you can't help leaving the theatre with a huge smile on your face (and full of Christmas cheer!) The Rockettes are of course the stars of the show, and seeing them is worth the (slightly pricey) ticket price alone. At times, the show is very cheesy and some of the sections without the Rockettes are a bit dated, but it's all part of the charm and tradition, and it makes the Rockettes dance numbers even more special. The only part I could do without is the 'Living Nativity', as I feel it's unnecessary to have animals on stage in this day and age. Given the short amount of time they are on stage for, the addition of multiple animals (including camels!) seems rather pointless and outdated. That said, the rest of the show is outstanding, with high production values and some great sets and technology. It's amazing to see such a big cast on such a huge stage, and to experience a venue like Radio City Music Hall. If you like musicals, dance and Pantomime etc, you are bound to love this show!
