To say Andrew was amazing is an understatement. He provided us with so much information and reassurance about the helicopter ride, and he delivered on every promise he made us. If you’re excited for a photo op he definitely delivers … he went round each sight twice on each side to make sure no matter where you’re sitting you get the perfect view and picture. We had a nervous flyer on board with us and he was wonderful with her, chatting away and really calming her nerves. A helicopter ride is definitely a once in a lifetime experience and he went above and beyond to make sure it’s the best experience it could be. The windows are so large and full view that there’s no chance you’ll miss the view. Thank you Irish Andrew for giving us brits the best trip possible !

As we were only in NYC for 4 nights we weren't sure if we would be able to fit this in but so glad we did.
We attended the heliport on the day and after a discussion with staff booked for later that day. Weather was questionable but we were assured a full refund if the flight didn't go ahead.
When we arrived for the flight, we were met by friendly staff and then introduced to our pilot, Irish Andrew. Andrew can only be described as fantastic. Funny, informative and friendly.
We booked the Liberty Harbour tour which was short but honestly, worth every penny. Our only regret was not being able to afford a longer trip. Regardless this was the trip of a lifetime.
Andrew made sure everyone on the flight (4 of us (Blackpool) and 2 other people (Brunei)) were included and made to feel like royalty.
The Helicopter very smart, clean and tidy.
If your thinking of doing this tour, look no further than Zip. I'm sure all the other pilots are top notch. If they are all like Andrew your in for a real treat.

Absolutely incredible. The organisation and welcome was smooth and friendly. We got to meet our pilot before we went up (Irish Andrew). His personal, warm and genuine welcome put everyone at ease. Andrew made the flight unforgettable; his inclusive and friendly approach just added to the already incredible sights. The weather was amazing, the sights were breathtaking. Best flight ever!! Couldn’t recommend enough.

My wife and I visited New York for our honey moon and this tour was the last thing we done on this trip and we certainly saved the best until last. The staff at Zip tours very kind and helpful and our pilot Andrew Wood went above and beyond to make this experience unforgettable. I would really recommend this tour company and I will definitely return and use them again in the future.

I had booked this for my nieces 18th birthday online and didn’t know quite what to expect. Our tour was fantastic from start to finish, and our pilot Andrew went above and beyond, pun intended. He was full of knowledge and expertise and even convinced my, who is terrified of heights, brother in law to join us, who of course recognised Andrew from an Irish radio station lol. To say it blew his mind, as it did ours, is an understatement. To all you visitors to NYC, this is a must. Andrew and of course all the crew at Zip, thank you, we WILL be back!

Of course a helicopter ride around the Statue of Liberty is amazing. The staff were very nice and we had an amazing time. Our headphones in the helicopter did not work though. Felt safe and taken care of, great views from all seats.

We came across this by accident and were on a flight within the hour. Our pilot was Andrew Woods who made the whole experience extra special for us. The view is stunning and a memory that will last forever.

Booked a helicopter flight with my family as part of my 50th Birthday celebrations. The whole experience was excellent from booking to the flight itself. I was very lucky to be seated in the front of the helicopter next to the pilot. I was slightly nervous beforehand as I didn't know what to expect, but I was amazed at how smooth the flight was despite there being a slight breeze on the day! The pilot was lovely and very informative. The photo opportunities were amazing. Definitely something I will never ever forget.
I would also like to say a special thank you to Andrew. What a lovely chap! We met Andrew when we popped in to book our flight. We got chatting and during our conversation I happened to mention that we hadn't used the subway in NY as I didn't even use the underground in the UK. He put my mind at ease about using the subway in NY and actually went out of his way to help us by walking us to the nearest station and organising tickets for us to travel on the underground. Andrew, we were touched by your kindness that day and I am pleased to report that we travelled on the Subway every day after that initial trip.
I would also like to say a special thank you to Andrew. What a lovely chap! We met Andrew when we popped in to book our flight. First of all the entire flight lasted 8 or 9 minutes and not 15 as they present it, but that wouldn’t have been such an issue if the entire experience was ruined by the attitude of the stuff upon return. While they were very nice before booking the trip upon return, when we were walking back from the helicopter and wanting to turn for a sec and make a photo of the view the member of the stuff pushed us in a very rude and disrespectful manner not even letting us to finish the sentence or listening to what we wanted to do. This totally ruined it all for us and I am sorry we haven’t filed a complaint. I wouldn’t go back or recommend it to an of my friends in the future.

We are sorry that your experience with us is less than stellar. We truly work hard to make each Helicopter Tour memorable. I see that you wanted to take photos after the the Helicopter has landed (after the Tour). The secure flight deck is regulated by Heliport Management (not Zip) and they are very strict when it comes to offloading passengers and making sure nobody lingers. This is for safety reasons. The flight deck is very busy and active with Helicopters flying in and flying out on a specific schedule. Having said that, please be assured that the ground staff is trained to be firm but respectful at all times. I sincerely apologize if some staff members did not communicate this safety issue to you in a more respectful manner. We will re-evaluate our training program to ensure that this does not happen again.

Literally took us longer to find parking and walk to the place than we spend on the event. Really not a good investment. Views were cool, but quickly disappointing.

Hi, I would like to take photos during the flight. Are the windows open or how would this work? Do you recommend your tours for aerial photography or would you recommend something else?

Thank you for your question. During the flight, the doors are closed. We do not offer open door Tours. You can still take photos while inflight even if the doors are closed. Please note that Tours follow a pre-determined route over the Hudson river and are not allowed to deviate from this route. Thank you.

Hi, Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, it's possible to transfer someone from a wheelchair to the helicopter. The individuals family member will have to assist the passenger into the helicopter. Our ramp agents can assist the family member to ensure safety on the ramp. We look forward to your visit.

Hallo, das ist kein Problem. Man wird vor Ort gewogen und so in den Helikoptern und auch auf die Sitzplaetze verteilt.
If you book for two people, say my mom and I, do we get to ride in the helicopter with the pilot ourselves or do we ride with other people who reserved the same day? How do reservations work?

The company will do its best to maximise the capacity of each helicopter therefore it is highly unlikely that you will get a helicopter to yourself. They also weigh everyone and then tell you where to sit to ensure an even weight distribution so you can't choose. it is a very good service but of course you get what you pay for it you book a private helicopter it would cost way more than the cost of this trip. We were very happy, it was a very professional company.
