I loved this tour! I am not very religious but I am a sucker for history, NYC stories, and a beautiful location with a great guide. Dan was amazing! Besides being funny and informative, he was also very kind and did not hesitate to answer any and all questions. When I went on the tour it was attended by 95% NYers and I think we all came out from this tour my knowledgeable and proud of this great city that we are lucky enough to cal home. Thank you Dan !!

We heard about the catacombs of St. Pat's Cathedral recently and couldn't understand where they were located within the Cathedral having been there a few times. What we learned is that they're actually located in OLD St. Patrick's Cathedral in Little Italy. What a beautiful church and most informative tour of the catacombs beneath it!! Our tour guide, Ronny, was knowledgable, fun as well as entertaining. It was well worth the 90 minutes and the reasonable price of the ticket! Thank you, Ronny and Tommy's New York. We'd like to try your other tours next time we're in NYC....highly recommend this one!

I went on this tour and it exceeded my expectations! It was really cool, informative and beautiful to see the church and the catacombs. Kyle was HILARIOUS. He's what all tour guides should aspire to be. We actually were supposed to be with a different guide but Kyle gave the quick intro before splitting up groups and we actually said we want to go into Kyle's tour and we're happy we did! He knew so much and made the tour really fun with all his jokes. I'll definitely be recommending!

Leo was a fantastic tour guide of Old St Patrick’s Cathedral. We had a great time and learned a lot! He provided the history of the building in an entertaining and digestible manner. Highly recommend, we will be purchasing tickets again as gifts!

I wasn't sure what to expect, really thinking it was just looking at the true catacombs of the church. However, this was at the Old St Patricks (do not show up at THE St Pats or you'll miss out). As such, there was a lot of history to be learned. Not just about the church, but about the early days of NYC, about the Irish immigrants, the Italian immigrants, and how the role of the church evolved. Yes, we saw the catacombs which are the burial chambers. Lots of famous people buried here. We did this as part of New York Pass, so well worth the time.

We loved every minute of this tour even though we're Floridians and it was freezing! Dan made the experience super enjoyable and this is great for history nerds. The facts about NYC were things I didn't know even after going there dozens of times. The catacombs were interesting but not as gross as I was expecting! :)

This is a tour we had wanted to do for awhile. I’m glad we finally got a chance to do it. Growing up in New York, you take a lot of the history and tourists sites for granted. It’s always a good idea to be a tourist in your own backyard.

We had Leo as our tour guide, he gave an informative historical tour with humor. We really enjoyed the five points background information and inside stories of the catacombs. Walking through the dark with little “candles” was a fun experience that we didn’t have to travel to Europe to experience.

I was hoping for historical accuracy, interesting tidbits and a knowledgeable guide through the catacombs. What I got was Brien, who was condescending, reciting what he gleaned from the internet and a lot of unfunny jokes about how no one could afford to be buried there. I expected a catacomb by candlelight tour. The reality was a church basement filled with storage and odds and ends and an underground masouleum tour by tiny dollar store electric candle . I did not apprechiate the guide scolding my mother for having a conversation about the patron Saint of dogs with another tour member during free time. I also found it absurd that he asked that no one sit while we were in the church, guess he did not notice that woman with the cane! So suddenly sitting in a pew is disrespectful, but cracking unfunny jokes is not. At the begining of the tour I should have suspected something when instead of an educational film we had to sit thru a cheesy commercial for Tommy Tours. I wish I had another set of hands to give this tour four thumbs down. A complete waste of time and money. The saving grace was a trip to Fay da bakery and my mum finding two great pairs of sunglasses in the fleamarket outside the tour. If you want a great tour check out Madame Morbid's trolley your, a real gem worth every penny.

Pro Tip: This is not the big St. Patrick's Cathedral. Many people on our tour accidentally went there first. You'll learn why there are TWO St. Patrick's on the tour.

Dan was a great tour guide and the company seems to have a very close relationship with the church and its staff. Dan kept things interesting, lively, and really informative. He brough his stories to life by projecting images of the people and places on the walls.

I'd definitely recommend this tour to others looking to know a bit more about not only the church, but the New York of 150 years ago.
