Living in NYC for over 20 years I was happy to stumble upon this little treasure of a tour. A huge thank you to our tour guide Dan who was not only informative but also able to crack a good joke or two. You will not go wrong with a little bit of history below the ground.

What a super cool way to experience New York's colorful and unusual history! We loved it! Dan was amazing and he really took you back in time to a pivotal era in New York's incredible story. I had no idea 1,000+ armed Irish immigrants defended the church from native gangs and that a Bishop actually threatened the mayor that he would burn down 100 Protestant churches if his was destroyed by the mob!! Best of all were the colorful stories of the people and families buried under this incredible church. I appreciate Dan's knowledge of history and how he threaded it through entertaining stories. SO fun to walk around the beautiful neighborhood after the tour now knowing all its history - I can never look at it the same again. If you want to learn about this great city, start with Dan's tour!

I LOVED my tour today!! I thought it was absolutely fascinating, and Leo (my tour guide) was spectacular! His knowledge about the history of the church, the grounds, NYC history, and the people inside the catacombs was really great, and I even learned (more than) a few new things, even about the Catholic Church itself! You should be proud to have Leo on staff as a tour guide. It is clear to me that he has done his homework, and the enthusiasm he showed came through magnificently! I can't recommend this tour enough, and I will be posting it on my travel agency's Facebook and Instagram pages as something my clients should consider doing while staying in New York City! Thanks again for a wonderful afternoon- it was one I will surely be talking and thinking about a lot!

The tour was so much more informative than I was expecting. I envisioned being underground looking a burial sites. We went through the cemetery and learned historical facts that I for one was unaware of. We got to tour the old St Pats church and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. I would recommend to anyone.
